In what appeared a gesture of goodwill and brotherhood, Iranian nation is sharing Pakistan Independence Day celebrations through a pro-Pakistan campaign across their country and in their spiritual capital city Mashhad in particular where 242 screens broadcast Iranian greetings to commemorate the epoch-making 14th August of 1947 when Pakistan came into being.
Iranian news agency ‘Tasnim News’ has introduced this unique idea under which big screens installed in Mashhad city, including those 242 screens installed at Metro Train stations are advertising public messages of greetings after every three minutes round the clock. This 10-day campaign that continues today, has attracted Iranians attention to Pakistan Independence Day.
Iranians are told through this message that Supreme Leader of Islamic Revolution and Iran’s head of state Grand Ayatollah Syed Ali Khamenei too respects Pakistani nation in high esteem. Iranians and their revolutionary leadership lauds Pakistani nation for their unwavering support to Iran and their revolutionary zeal and steadfastness against the global imperialistic powers.
The billboards are also displaying Iranians greetings for Pakistan. The flexes on display has an image of founder of Pakistan and father of Pakistani nation Mohammad Ali Jinnah and Supreme Leader Grand Ayatollah Khamenei. Iranians greet Pakistanis, saying ‘Saalrooz-e-Isteghlal-e-Pakistan Mubarakbaad’ that means in Urdu Pakistan ki Azadi Ki Salgirah Mubarak ho.
