I'm a lurker on these Pakistani political threads, but even I have to point out - you can drop the 'we' as you didn't do anything. For starters, how many of the 1,331 days of Imran Khan's premiership were you in Pakistan at all?

My cousin is a DPO(district police officer), posted in one of the major cities of Punjab. He was given clear instructions to stop the rallies at any cost. He had direct orders from the interior ministry to use force.

However, he didn't use such tactics and let the people join rallies. He's even thinking of resigning as he feels that he can't work under these goons.

Under such circumstances, what do you expect from people? should they let the police beat them? and for what? just because they received orders from goons? If i come across such a situation, i'd rather beat the police instead of being beaten by them for no reason.

I agree 100%. But the issue here is that the Interior minister is on record that "we will not let anyone enter Islamabad". The government did not allow protests at all. We saw this at Sialkot Jalsa and then again during the march.

Obviously, it's a post-truth era that we are living in, so there'll be different sides to a story. I am just stating my personal experience

One can find more than couple dozens of such cases and in fact many incidents that isn't captured in Camera. Such incidents shouldn't happen but unfortunately they do.
