Well, if you go to Silk board and Marathalli.. This is exactly how you would feel Ab Fan King_Kohli

Does anyone know what Cred's business model is?

With a base of five million premium users, my guess is CRED can sell this consumer behavior, spending patterns etc .. to big companies and brands for a fee.

Which brand wouldn't want a database of high net worth inviduals to reach out to ? It would be a bit like how Facebook and Google sells browsing data of its users to companies.

I used to pass silk board in my bike to reach office near marathalli before lockdown hit. Anyone can go crazy, very true

This is the only ad I liked from Cred. Those other ads involving Madhuri, Anil Kapoor and other bollywood celebrities were yuck. :inti

Former Indian batsman Rahul Dravid has been the most composed and calm cricketer ever seen. However, in the recent ad, fans saw a new version of Dravid.

The CRED ad saw actor Jim Sarbh saying: "When you pay your Credit Cards bills on CRED, you earn CRED coins. Use them to claim cashback and rewards. I know this sounds ridiculous. It is like saying Rahul Dravid has anger issues."

Soon Dravid appears on the screen and is seen shouting at everyone from his car. He is even seen breaking the side-mirror of a car standing next to him with his bat before getting out of the car's rooftop and shouting "Indiranagar ka gunda hun main."

The ad has since gone viral and has also become the meme of 2021. However, Virender Sehwag said that Rahul Dravid had shown his anger in real life as well.

Sehwag recalled the time the 48-year-old was angry with the then-newcomer MS Dhoni. During one of India's tours of Pakistan, Dravid lashed out at Dhoni for getting out to a loose stroke. Sehwag added that the incident had caught Dhoni by surprise.

"I have seen Rahul Dravid get angry. When we were in Pakistan and MS Dhoni had been a newcomer, he played a shot and got caught at point. Dravid was very angry with MS Dhoni. 'That's the way you play? You should finish the game.' I was myself taken aback by the storm of English from Dravid, I didn't understand half of it," Sehwag told on Cricbuzz.

"But when MS Dhoni next came in to bat, I could see he was not hitting shots much. I went and asked him what was wrong. He said he did not want to be scolded by Dravid again. 'I will finish the game quietly and go back,' Dhoni said," he added.

As for Dravid's cricketing career, he remains as one of the greatest Indian batters to have played the game. In 164 Tests, 344 ODIs and one T20I, he managed to score 13288, 10889 and 31 runs respectively.

He had also once hit England's Samit Patel for three sixes in a row during a T20I back in 2011 at Manchester. In the Indian Premier League (IPL), Dravid went on to play 89 matches.

It is a loyalty/rewards programme, where if you pay your credit card bill using their app, they give cash-back/rewards.
In turn, they get your spending patterns, and do data analysis on top of that and sell it to the marketing departments of the large firms, which in turn gets used for target advertising.

Police forces join #IndiraNagarkaGunda bandwagon with Rahul Dravid memes

With the ad inspiring hundreds of memes, law enforcement agencies too joined the bandwagon. While some used it to ask people to avoid road rage when stuck in traffic, others used it to remind people to follow COVID protocol.

With an ad featuring veteran Indian cricketer Rahul Dravid going viral on social media, it didn’t take long for police forces in at least two states to leverage the trend.

In Gujarat, Surat City Traffic Police used an image from the ad and captioned it on Instagram: “Gundagardi sirf movies mein achi lagti hai, sadko par nahi. Roads Indiranagar ki ho ya Surat ki, gundagardi is not welcome. (Hooliganism looks good only in movies, not on roads. Be it in roads of Indiranagar or Surat, hooliganism is not welcome).”

In the viral ad, Dravid, known for his gentle demeanor, explodes with rage while stuck in Bengaluru’s notorious traffic. In one of the scenes, he is seen standing through the car sunroof and declaring that he is the “gunda of Indira Nagar”.

The ad was part of credit card payments app CRED’s Indian Premiere League (IPL) campaign.
