I won't be surprised if he is, but what is worse is that even in this day and age of technology, they (PCB) can not get or determine the right ages of players. That I agree with. He's probably 18.
Exactly which is why he had a short career.Shane Bond has 2 back surgeries during his career
Pretty much there abouts. He is 17 (and a half).
He is 17 and a half. You can see more info on him in the Talent Spotter thread: http://www.pakpassion.net/ppforum/showthread.php?277281
That's the real tragedy courtesy PSL.
Unfortunately, we've stopped picking players primarily from FC/List A and focusing entire energy on the PSL. It's very, very wrong.
I'm confused. The DOB on his Talent Spotter and CI is February 15, 2003. I assume that is wrong given you are saying he is 17 and a half.
I just watched a Junaid Khan video from the same tournament.
And he too looked 'fast' from the carry and bounce. So, now I agree with you. Most balls seem to be in early to mid 130s here.
Would love to see him under a speed camera. But I doubt most deliveries would be 140+.
His official listed age is 15 but he has told us that he is actually 17.5.
Wont this get him or his parents in trouble? For forging the DOB on his birth certificate?
I am hoping that by making Micky Arthur and Azhar Mahmood aware of Naseem Shah, he can be fast-tracked to international cricket like Shaheen Afridi has been.

It wont because that's the age they know and have documents for. A person saying he is a certain age doesnt mean much
The vast majority of Pakistani players in international and domestic cricket forge there age. It appears no one really cares so I don’t think he would get in any sort of trouble.
