It is safe to say our test pace attack currently is one of the worst in the world and the incumbent first reserves like Musa or Kashif don’t fill me with excitement so this thread is to share clips and highlight some potential hidden gems .

I will start with Arshadullah

He’s a left arm pacer who played for FATA this season looks to be quite tall and pace looks 130 plus . The action is decent but he’s losing his height a little bit still plenty to work with

Last seven 250+ scores in Tests!🔥 Five out of seven instances have been against Pakistan.😳

Next up is Mohammad Salman
Salman played for Lahore in QeA trophy and took 29 wickets in 6 matches .He again is pretty tall and has moulded his action on Glen McGrath from the clips it’s all seems he’s mainly a seam bowler his pace like a little low (mid 120?) and despite his height I don’t see him generating any extra bounce maybe it’s the pitch however I like his initial look and if he can bowl at 85 mph he can be someone who can make the grade up given his natural attributes

Not saying that pacers are great, but this stats also has something to do with Pakistan playing many part time spinners in many games. Some good spinners can stop stand out records like that as well. If you only play with part timers then that option does not exist. I have seen Pakistan playing part time spin in ODI as well. It's puzzling. I don't remember who played in which game, I did not follow that closely but that has been my impression.

Just have the best 3 pacers and one best spinner always. Then see if you need all rounders who are not good enough for either batting/bowling to balance one aspect, but starting with those all rounders makes it very very hard to bowl out opposition and you get records like above.

Not making excuse for pacers here, just bringing another angle. Pacers are who they are.

Right now, Pakistan is in deep deep waters when it comes to finding a red ball pacer. I have hoped from Khurram but he gets injured easily. Naseem is not there yet. Shaheens is not in top form, abbas is close to retiring.

11/128 for Arshadullah in the recent Presidents trophy game

Looks a bit like Sohail khan.

Even if Pakistan find somebody, they usually don't last beyond 30 tests.

30+ out of 40 Wickets in last two tests in Pakistan, taken by spinners good luck finding a genuine pacer :qdkcheeky

25-year-old left-arm seamer from Bannu, Arshadullah took his 2nd First-Class 5-fer.

His maiden FC 5-fer was in the last game he played in this year's Quaid-e-Azam Trophy.

@Bewal Express please share thoughts on this bowler

Interesting that Salman has not found himself a team for the President trophy
