"The player I miss most is Mohammad Yousuf; I learnt a lot from him about constructing an innings; He is the one I always miss"

If I am not wrong, weren't these two involved in a major beef eversince Malik was made captain in 2007. It reached the breaking point in 2010 in the aftermath of Australian tour when both were given lengthy bans alongwith Younis Khan. Even in Yousaf's interviews from recent past, I could hear him speaking ill of Shoaib Malik and calling him an undeserving captain that led to selfishness within the team that brought the mentality in the dressing room that anyone could be made captain regardless of performance etc(Although I still back Malik's appointment as LOI captain back in 2007)

Has there feud ended or is it just Shoaib Malik being diplomatic cause of his media handling skills that have developed in last few years?

He is just being diplomatic because he is smart enough and knows how to handle social media. Yousuf on the other hand is a complete fool and a blabber mouth and has poison inside of him for the likes of Malik and Misbah.

Actually Yousuf and Malik used to be great friends before 2007. Even Razzaq liked Malik. But once the latter was made captain and later on dropped from T20's it all changed. The seniority complex ate them.

Malik has said in many interviews before that Yousuf was the funniest.

This reminds me of the Malik-Yousuf partnership against our lovely parosis in this very tournament.

Yousaf has a very under rated sense of humour. Afridi, Akhtar and now Malik are basically confirming he was extremely enjoyable to listen too and even in the Geo program, you can tell that this guy can make people laugh with his comments.

Malik is being honest here, he is praising Yousaf for teaching him how to properly pace an ODI innings and both Inzi and Yousaf were masters at this in their primes.

Yousuf holds grudges

Malik doesn't

In this video from today, Shoaib Malik said he misses Mohammad Yousaf the most in the dressing room these days.

"My favourite countries to play in the world are Pakistan and India"

I remember 4/5 years ago someone asked him who is his best friend in cricket and he said Yousuf

The fact that both of these were in a controversy was when Malik included Misbah instead of yousuf in the T-20 team for 2007 world cup.

Yousuf had a huge repute at that time and T-20 was a new format and yousuf used to play with a loose strike rate. ...Malik gave a chance to the 33 year old Misbah and that angered Yousuf and a few more close buddies of him. Since they thought that Malik was kind of trying to rule them. Moin Khan was the only person at that time to support Malik and all the ex-cricketers were talking against him on the TV until and unless the World Cup ended

Yousuf is massively underrated on this forum.
