The last one's true. Who would have expected a politician who got annihilated in 2013 to become the largest party in 2018 and that too by a big margin.

Those are very big achievements no doubt. Especially the Namal Collage. Unis/collages are made only in urban cities of Pakistan, politicians dont give 2 hoots to other cities.

But politics is a different game. And Pakistani politics becomes a mess especially when you have got the millitary aswell

A champ.

Pity people forget his cricketing career and legacy because of his politics.

Politics is such a dirty game.

Always been an inspiration in terms of his never say die attitude and dedication.

We've lacked charismatic leaders like Imran when it comes to cricket.

Too many recent captains who were weak, timid and more worried about their own place in the team.

Absolutely, and no one in the pipeline too, sadly.

During one of my previous visit to Pakistan I visited Namal college with my family. Great project, at a scenic place, overlooking Namal lake . IK is on of the most inspiring leaders to emerge in the world in recent times.

He has told us this story about a zillion times. Seems he can't get over it!

Imad, anyone?

On a more serious note, what a man. Was doubted every step of the way. Saw one of his interviews with 60 Minutes Australia back when he was making the hospital and was talking about how the day he would walk through its front door would be the greatest day of his life. He was the guy who had a blind passion, dreams that no one thought possible; fantasies, but he has that drive to make them true. Legend.
