I wonder if someone has the clip where both Waqar and Akhtar are commentating in English for the Domestic T20 tournament where they were talking about Lahore Qalandar's performances under Aqib Javed.

Waqar then laid into Aqib who had recently criticized both Misbah and Waqar for the team's showing against Sri Lanka and commented, someone like Aqib who has been in charge of LQ as director of cricket for the last 4 years and his team has never even qualified, he is no one to talk or criticize anyone, he should focus on his job at LQ.

He didn't say it in an angry tone but in a funny, jovial and condescending laughing tone. They way he said it was funny. The clip is on Twitter but can't find it on youtube

I like this kind of banter. as you say it wasnt mean spirited. Our cricket discourse would be much healthier if we could be frank like this.

For four consecutive years Aaqib is fooling the Qalandars management, everyone from Paddy Upton to Mccullum, Kyle Mills to Inzamam, Kabir Khan to Atiq-uz-Zaman are blamed and even asked to move out but no one talks about the "elephant in the room", Mighty Aaqib is here to stay.
