Have posted on Aamer Jamal in the past. I think he has potential. He can go for runs but comes in clutch as well. What he did to Moeen in the final over is something I don’t think Wasim could’ve done.

Top player in the making. Hits a clean, big ball and bowls with a lot of heart, consistently at 140+. I'm a fan of wasim jr and he has a lot of potential to be a top all rounder but he hasn't excited me with his bowling. Pollock was one of the greatest fast bowlers. The batting was a bonus. If he can become half of what Pollock was, ide say his job is complete.

I think it was last year before the England t20 series where he had some clutch batting performances in the domestic competition right before. Big hitting. Typical sort of stuff you would expect someone trying to cut it as a pace AR. Someone fact check me here if I’m off, but I’m pretty sure that’s where people realized that he actually has what it takes to be an allrounder. Seemed like a good puller of the ball.

However we haven’t seen much of that in PSL. REALLY wanted to see what he could do today with the blade, but alas… a run out.

Either way. There’s no reason to pin on Waseem to be an AR. Let him be a bowler. He’s improved. Should develop Aamer.

Unfortunately Pak has no idea how to do it. Ran Abdul Razzaq into the ground by changing expectations from him every year (ofc, partially his own fault too), wasted Aamer Yamin and Amad Butt when they were hitting their stride with bat and ball.

He is a good lower order batsman, way more dependable in clutch situations than most players. Overall he is a really mediocre bowler now because of his lack of pace, but batting wise Faheem is very useful to have in the back end with pacers operating
