Lahore Qalandars and Multan Sultans are good too. Apparantly the Franchise Owner for Lahore Qalandars Fawad Rana has sung the song for Lahore Qalandars

I hate how they play the same songs after every boundary/wicket. It's so annoying.

the music at start was good but once the singer open his mouth to sing the song it became horrible :facepalm:

By the way, how annoying is the Ali Zafar PSL song.

Hated it the first time I heard it and 3000 times later I still think it's awful.
 
When will Karachi kings release their 2019 song?

Karachi Kings have garnered a large number of fan following simply from producing eye catching and melodious music videos of their yearly anthems.

First year- Dillon ke badshah by ali azmat
Second year- dhan Dhana dhan hoga re by Shehzad Roy
Third year- Karachi kings laga ke wings by Shehzad Roy.

Every year the songs seemed to be improving and I’m sure other fans must really be waiting for the fourth song.

However, surprisingly their is even no mention of any song or any BTS photo shoots. Their definetly should have been a song for this year, as it would have attracted the youth in Pakistan to come down to Karachi stadium to watch the matches.

This years one was the worst. The PSL 2 overall was the best.

KK doesn't give a **** about their fans. They can't be bothered to interact with their fans and i have a feeling that they are on social media only because other franchises are there as well. They give stupid puzzles to insult their fans' intelligence. Their songs are awful, which is pretty evident from the fact that even that Fawad Rana song was better because it had some meaning and relevance to the city he was singing for.

I have my opinion but you are a keen advocating of PSL marketing etc so I',m keen to hear yours.
 
Lahore Qalandars original anthem isn’t just the best ever PSL anthem, it’s the best ever world franchise cricket anthem.

Another marketing failiure.....

Pakistanis enjoys jingles, not full fledge songs with cringeworthy dance moves.

The song is getting plenty of praises on Twitter and IG. You have to realize that music at the end of the day is personal and a track is not going to get praised by everyone.

I love it how people state their opinions on subjective topics, like music, as facts. If you don't like something, understand that you can only speak for yourself.

I think that this is a good song and will grow on me as I listen to it more. Still remember last year how it suddenly became cool to diss Groove just because a salty Ali Zafar had triggered a mass trolling campaign on Twitter.

Tiktok sponsored the anthem this year. This is the first year the PCB has not had to pay out of pocket for the anthem

I'm not into music but they should have a PSL idol kind of thing starting two months away from the tournament.

There are three or four channels that sponsor different teams so getting one channel on board with the program should not be super hard. Free content for the channels and hype for the tournament with a yearly Eurovision like contest that can become big as well over time.

The tournament should also have one small song/jingle or intro that should remain the same year after year giving the vibe of a brand. While some things need to freshen up regularly, some things need to remain constant for flashbacks and instant recall adding to the brand value.

Doing the same kind of music or track will not help the PSL, you need something new annually. How the Franchises choose to market themselves and the tracks they develop is up to them. Having a good tune plays a role in developing a connection with the Franchise

Each team should by now have a collection of their songs, anthems and the stadium authorities should play the teams respective songs whenever the relevant team hits a 4, 6, gets a wicket e.t.c.
 
It’s a catchy song… think Atif has done a good job.

Views are high so plenty of promotion.
 
I like a lot of Atif Aslam's songs, but this just seems to be a bit of a mess.

Great song. Herd it the first time did not vibe with it, herd it again than got addicted to it. This song sounds sporty very nice. Very different song compared to anything Atif Aslam has ever done. Way better than Groove Mera in my opinion.

4 million views in 3 days which is not a bad effort. PCB should have released the song atleast 2-3 weeks. Every PSL song has gotten criticized early on and then eventually grown on people.

Karachi Kings Album. I personally like it being a khite. I wish they had invested the same amount in getting quality players as they did on the song.
