Imad or Sarfaraz are not the answers. Just look at the fitness levels of these players. Does Imam play FC, does he even play 50 overs cricket?

Nawaz, Shadab, Mir and Imad are not good enough to be in the team as all rounders in ODI’s.

Imad gets into the team only if he’s picked as a batsman, therefore we’d have to replace him with a batsman and not an all rounder.

Anyone that thinks he can get you wickets consistently in the middle overs either has his WhatsApp number or living in a fantasy.
 
Dude is a star and should be on the team and potentially captain. Outrageous that he's not when others like nawaz are on the team.
 
He’s too busy playing T10 cricket. If he was serious, he would have made himself available for domestic selection and played good enough to make it back on the side. Also, it doesn’t help that he sits on TV all day ranting about the current captain.

I’d much rather invest in a younger spin option who will be in prime form for 2027 WC. Spinners aren’t much use on South African wickets anyway.
 
I have nothing against Imad. I do believe he should have been playing ahead of Nawaz. But my point is I don't see any game he would have won us on . The way we lost he couldn't have done much

Brother I don’t think you understand. PCB wants him,

It’s the core group of guys who e are the ones who don’t like him. He is an outcast to them.
 
Unfortunate. One of Best T20 player for Pakistan gives such great balance to team . Credit to Sarfraz for using him to best of abilities. Clearly the captaincy change didn’t go along well with imad
 
Another poor performance by Imad. I think he did right by retiring from PCT.

Imad is an average cricketer who doesn’t solve any problems for Pakistan. His so-called leadership skills are also grossly overrated. He is not the greater thinker of the game that he and his fans think he is.

At best he is a useful T20 player who was trash in ODIs and never had the courage to play Test cricket even though he could have had free run as Yasir Shah’s partner for at least 3 years.

The problem for Pakistani fans is that the longer a player stays out of the team, the better he gets. A lot of fans who want Imad back now were the same fans who wanted Nawaz to replace him in the first place because Nawaz “could spin the ball”.

When you are out of the team, people tend to forget your failures and only recall the handful of good performances. Same is the case with Imad.

Had he stayed in the team, he would have been of the most criticized players and the same fans who now want him would want him out because he is a bits and pieces players and all that.

A player that is in demand in pretty much every franchise league is not average cricketer. Imad has contributed in tough situations. He is one of the few Pakistani players who easily merits an IPL contract.

Why you keep on harping about Imad when he has given no performance recently. Did you see him in BBL?. 4 wickets in 7 matches with economy of 8.5 and a batting strike rate of 116. What world are you living in man. Need to move on from such cricketers . Before you bring he's better than Nawaz, I say both are trash

Imad will get whacked all over India if he plays the IPL. Same was said about Haris Rauf before we saw his worth on Indian grounds.

Imad is a useful T20 player at best and I have said that already. If you are a useful T20 player with 100+ international caps you will be hot commodity in franchise cricket but it doesn’t say much about your credentials as a cricketer.

Imad will either go unsold in IPL, or go for a low base price but he will definitely not be successful.

Reaction of a 50 year old uncle. Truly a garbage player. Unfit rubbish like shabad is miles ahead of him.

PSL is a rubbish quality league but having players like Imad bring it down even more. Hopefully his last season in PSL.

We gave Waseem jr for Naseem.

Abrar was added in the deal because Islamabad thought that having an extra spinner would be a waste and they needed to create some space.

Right, but Imad isn’t a part of that trade though. You traded Imad for Hassan Ali…he is an upgrade to Hassan Ali as a bowler, and also as a batsman if he actually starts taking it seriously again.

We did not require Imad. Because we could had retained Ibrar.

Imad is a garbage cricketer, plus he is over valued in his category. Abrar was under valued, which meant we could had retained Abrar for more seasons. By next season Imad or some other Diamond/Plantinum player will have to be released to make adustments.

Imad today lost us the game single handedly

10 failures cannot overcome only 2 good performance in domestic cricket. International cricket is about consistency, come back into the team when you are performing in atleast 80% of the games in domestic cricket
 
He has done very well in the last few games. Well done to him. But if an established player closes the door on Pakistan only they can reopen it.

It's time for fans to move on....rather than act like the jilted lovers in movies who stand outside their ex house with a book box playing love songs.

Their so many posters talking over, that it's actually confusing me at this point.

I don't want shadab, nawaz or any pseudo allrounders in the team, and I want to build a new team with proper allrounders and players and no more old horses if that makes sense.

I stated clearly that I don't want tired and tested players like sharjeel, Imad, sarfraz etc etc back.

But I will defend these players if someone says something stupid like nawaz is better and deserves it.

Sorry if I misunderstood you, it seems you and I agree on this part atleast.
 
In the list of mediocrities:

Imad is the worst
Second is Nawaz
Third is Shadab.

Need to get rid of all these 3 imposters.

Shadab relies on the 5th fielder. His bowls defensive spin where he needs 5 guys at the boundary to do the catching.
However, if Arif Yaqoob can do the same with 4 fielders, than Shadabs days could be numbered.

Shadab relies on the ground staff to return the ball back into the ground after his full tosses and half trackers are sent to Tier Z

No need for him, He has retired, and until he takes his retirement back and plays domestic cricket and performs constantly, until then he should not be in the picture and he is not.
