Haris Rauf's record as a death bowler is fantastic at this year's World Cup. Much better than 0-40 overs.

The only time Haris is good in ODIs is the death over! Unless he gets some momentum and picks up some wickets quick.

Belongs in the streets. This is what happens to fast track tape ball bowlers.

Some of the posts on Rauf by the usual deluded suspects look very funny now. It simply reinforces my assessment that our fans have zero cricketing knowledge.

One of the main factors why we've struggled in this WC, replace his spell against Aus with any decent bowler and we might have won despite Warner being dropped
 
Spray gun is back to take the battering he deserves. Just not cut out for international needs to be flushed just like the others. Need new blood
 
As I have been saying for years, he is a tape ball bowler who doesn’t belong at this level. Why didn’t anyone listen to me?

For me he's a bowler who once in a while bowls well, most of the time he's useless.

In addition I feel he bully's weak opposition but comes unstuck against the better teams.
 
ODI bowling selections on the basis of T20 Cricket need to end.
 
i don't know why Pakistanis are so obsessed with pace+ dead brain bowlers...this guy cant bowl 6 balls out of 6 in the channel on a good length.

there is a reason india hasnt selected umran even with all the hype around his pace

That's because international standards batsmen won't be troubled by pace that is gun barrel straight. With sheer pace you can only bully substandard international batsmen only.

That's very true.

And the best batters know that sooner or later a 4-ball will be gifted to them on a plate from Haris.
 
Break his finger in the nets and bring zaman khan for the next game. England batters will murder him.

Haris Rauf is a bit overrated bowler specially in ODIs.

He is only useful in death overs but in middle overs he is a disaster for team pakistan.

might get droped in next match against england.

The only blessing of this sad world cup campaign for the bowlers is that Haris & Shadab will be officially be T20 players only for Pakistan after we get knocked out.

Never will we see them again in a ODI or test match squad. But with the Pakistan think tank you never know for sure.
 
Haris rauf has been good in death bowling but his new ball skills are not there to let him bowl with the new ball. Babar should have an idea about it after so many matches now. Haris should be bowling middle and death spells. The new ball is not his strong point.
 
Haris Rauf has had a shocking World Cup as he ended up being the bowler who conceded the most runs.

At least there's something in which Pakistani player leading the charts. :D

I don't know why haris has been opening the spell with shaheen. He is not good with new balls. Seems like he started of with bowling a delivery on the pitch next to the original one. Poor start

Quicker we get rid of these frauds Rauf and afridi better for pakistan. Getting carted around by washed up England players tells you everything

He is one of the worst ODI bowlers. He has conceded almost 500 runs in this tournament. This is the right picture of his ODI career as there were no associate/B/C teams to bowl against.

Kohli and India have destroyed and finished raufs and afridis careers. Both are done and need to retire asap. Both always on the cusp of a severe carting. Both getting demolished by a washed up England side
 
As expected Rauf being thrashed one by one from Australia to AFG to NZ to Eng , pathetic this guy is our premier fast bowler

There’s alot of frauds in the team including his best pal afridi ones a spray gun and ones a trundler both are always on the cusp of getting battered
 
I think that well made CricInfo video before the world cup cursed him. Started from nowhere but after this world cup, he is heading for nowhere.

4-0-20-2 in the final 15 overs

He was exceptional in the death overs today.
 
Haris made a strong comeback with 3 wickets off 4 balls in his final over of the 4-over quota. Ran through the tail quickly here.
 
Haris ended his 4 overs in the 2nd T20 match against New Zealand, gave away 38 runs after his first 2 overs went for 30. also got 3 wickets. Brilliant death bowling by him.
 
I would prefer Zaman Khan over Haris Rauf because most of the time he is proving too costly. So what's the point of sticking with him when you have a specialist bowler in the squad?

Haris Rauf is a brilliant bowler, his skills just need to be polished.

He has no swing no ability to setup batsman , meaningless wickets at the end n makes the average Joe delude about his ability,
 
Even express pace bowlers have swing or seam movement to deceive batsman where does Rauf stand in the pecking order against the likes of Malinga , Johnson Tait etc sadly Raif not in same league

There is only one variation Haris Rauf has which is the slower one. This is the reason why he mostly gets thrashed because his slower one doesn't work effectively on flat surfaces and comes onto the bat nicely.
 
He finally took a wicket in the power play. Finally stepping up when the others have been bowling a bit poorly.
 
Can Rauf come back from this? 3 overs for 53 runs already

He hasn’t really recovered since the World Cup. Another story of a short span career player which has been a trend for Pakistan in recent decades for players that have made breakthrough from PSL.
 
Another box office show by Haris Spank me Rauf, please rest him for last two games and see the difference
 
I don't entirely blame Haris Rauf for getting spanked, I also blame the PCB for selecting a player from the literal streets of Pakistan with no brain just because he can chuck the ball kinda fast and pAcE is pAcEE yaAAARrrrr

Too many slower balls right in the slot. Bowled 2 very good overs though and 2 extremely rubbish ones.
