Some person will come and cite this interview to justify Bobby's greatness not realising that every cricketer will praise one another, unless your Australian or Indian who have ego's and just say the truth to your face. Gotta shut aussies up with IPL money and Indian cricketers up with Modi power.
He is also represented by the same agent.Someone please remind him that Babar Azam is no longer the captain
The shirt is always greener on the other side.If Pakistan continue to lose, it could become a case of people outside the team - Babar and Shaheen included - looking better than they are now.

I agree. For example, it is hilarious to see India top the ICC ODI ranking when it is not even good enough to win an ODI World Cup at home.ICC rankings needs some refinement, Current rankings are not capturing real picture as many teams employ rotation policy between formats.
And Pakistan at no.7 in T20Is when it's losing to teams like USA, Ireland, New Zealand CI agree. For example, it is hilarious to see India top the ICC ODI ranking when it is not even good enough to win an ODI World Cup at home.
Yup, we can resolve that. Infinity points for World Cup final.I agree. For example, it is hilarious to see India top the ICC ODI ranking when it is not even good enough to win an ODI World Cup at home.
Yep that's why I mentioned statpaddingBabar performed on the flattest pitches ever produced in Pakistan’s long Test history; when you look at your schedule for that WTC cycle, it was a golden opportunity for Pakistan to make the finals. Instead you had one of your worst Test runs in history at home…but but Babar scored some runs, what did it actually mean ? Zilch.

@Mobashir another ICC tournament failure for the Fake King..He is the best ODI batsman going around without a doubt. In T20's he is also one of the top batsman. And now that he has played one of the best innings of recent times in test cricket he has really elevated himself as a candidate for being the best all format batsman in the world.

Personnaly, people here know the importance I give to test cricket for such discussions even when it about all formats. So I will still have Joe Root because of his extraordinary form in test cricket.
I'd love to see him in Tests and ODI's for atleast another 8 years.
His T20 career is in the dumps. Averages below 40 now with a sub standard SR. Thoughts on his test career? 2 overseas centuries in 10 years. Average trending to below 40. Would be great to get you thoughts here @MobashirHe is the best ODI batsman going around without a doubt. In T20's he is also one of the top batsman. cricket is not about ifs, buts, hads or had beens. Fakhar has 10+ scores in last 5 t20i innings. Get yourself some awareness. That over from harmeet saved babar fakhar would have made 10-15 more had he faced 32 balls i think.
Got retained as a captain for 7 crore, I wouldn't mind getting that money without being a valued player.Babar is currently the best T20 batsmen in world cricket?
Even franchise teams don’t value him
As your name suggests, you will keep crying out loud because Babar is gonna play '28, '30 WC along with '28 olympics too if Pak team gets to olympics. That too even if you play him out of position as you're currently doing. One innings against an associate team and here we go again
im sure of it 100 percent if fakhar played 32 balls today he would have scored more than babar did.cricket is not about ifs, buts, hads or had beens. Fakhar has 10+ scores in last 5 t20i innings. Get yourself some awareness.

Yes but would Fakhar play 32 balls in the form he is in? not a chanceim sure of it 100 percent if fakhar played 32 balls today he would have scored more than babar did.![]()
Ahmed who could not even get a chance in PSL and then he started crying later is mocking who??
Amir? Fixer is gonna mock now??
Rashid?? Speechless... He is beyond understanding lost cause.
During a cricket discussion show in Pakistan, the panelists playfully set conditions tied to Babar Azam’s performance. The banter revolved around food promises, retirement talk, and Babar’s strike rate.
What Happened:
Ahmed Shahzad: Said if Babar wins the match, he’ll personally bring food for everyone.
“The crowd coordinator won't have to get food that day. The whole team will get food.”
“Let's be realistic. If he plays a match-winning inning with a strike rate of 150 and scores 50 plus, then all these conditions are on.”
Mohammad Amir:
“If he plays innings with a strike rate of 160 and helps Pakistan win, Amir will take his retirement back.”
Rashid Latif:
“He doesn't even bat that long.”
FOr india gameSo did they bring food do everyone? Or was this for India match?
I know standards for Babar are low, but let him score vs India before we do bhangra! So did they bring food do everyone? Or was this for India match?
160 strike rate is surely too much for Babar. Even 150 strike rate is very difficult for him. The best he can do is around 130-140 strike rate.Ahmed who could not even get a chance in PSL and then he started crying later is mocking who??

He was the best at that time but nor anymore@Mobashir has suddenly become busy with work
He was the best at that time but nor anymore
We can agree to disagree. He was never the best, his test record and away record is modest at best
In red ball cricket, when and where? He was the best at that time but nor anymore
Overall All formats, he was the best for sometime. But was never the best in tests. I misunderstood the thread. In red ball cricket, when and where?
There was a time in 20/21 when he was best all around batter in world. He was the best at that time but nor anymore
AgreedThere was a time in 20/21 when he was best all around batter in world.
It didn't last he regressed in all three formats. T20 cricket has evolved past him now. Test was always his worst format.

Definitely not in tests, he never was near the top in testsThere was a time in 20/21 when he was best all around batter in world.

Never ever came close. Forget his white ball tuk tuk, you need to perform in TEST cricket. He never did that.Jokes aside - and as an Indian the jokes front up very easily - it’s a pity how this guy lost his way.
For a year or so I did think we had someone who’d take the mantle of greatness, surpassing Inzi to match and maybe surpass Miandad.
Not even close
Which match winning innings he played across formats to be even called the best for 1 day?Overall All formats, he was the best for sometime. But was never the best in tests. I misunderstood the thread.
Test knock at karachi against Australia was top notch. Keep your hate aside, he did well in those 2,3 years.Which match winning innings he played across formats to be even called the best for 1 day?
Clearly ahead of Sachin, gavaskar, dravid, Kohli, anwar, Younis, yusuf, etcHe was supposed to be a far better batsman than Kohli, and end his career as the greatest ever batsman from Asia surpassing Tendulkar, according to @Bilal7![]()

Well said.Ramiz Raja played a significant role in inflating Babar Azam's average, making him appear to be a better player than he actually is. During Ramiz Raja's tenure, from September 13, 2021, to December 21, 2022, Babar averaged 70 in home conditions, despite Pakistan not winning a single Test at home. However, after that period, his average dropped to 30. This suggests that the focus was more on making Babar look impressive on flat pitches rather than achieving wins for Pakistan.
I asked match winnings knocks in TESTS (does he even has one in the last 5 years)? What has he done in SENA?Test knock at karachi against Australia was top notch. Keep your hate aside, he did well in those 2,3 years.
He was top class odi bat from 2018-2022. Not one he has mutilple innings and was consistent.
I said till 2022. Yes most of his test innings are in winning causes.I asked match winnings knocks in TESTS (does he even has one in the last 5 years)? What has he done in SENA?
In ODISs apart from cheap runs in JAMODIs what has he done in ICC events, which match winning knocks has he ever played?
His average was 60.9 in matches Pakistan won before 2022. What else you need? Should have been averaging 100 or we should have not lost a single match because Babar Azam played??I asked match winnings knocks in TESTS (does he even has one in the last 5 years)? What has he done in SENA?
In ODISs apart from cheap runs in JAMODIs what has he done in ICC events, which match winning knocks has he ever played?
Which matches? And as asked before what has he achieved in SENA?His average was 60.9 in matches Pakistan won before 2022. What else you need? Should have been averaging 100 or we should have not lost a single match because Babar Azam played??
Which legacy will he leave behind? Striking at 110 in T20 WCs, hiding and failing in ICC events 50 overs or being an absolute flop in TEST cricket who cant score a 100 in SENA?Babar is respected more outside of Pak than he is by some so-called Pakistani fans which is a matter of national shame. Despite his average BBL, Babar was box office in BBL. They were treating him and even Riz with reverence. The game between Riz and Babar was billed as the clash of heavyweights. No cricketer in recent history has got as much adulation as Babar in that part of the world. Even Shaheen admitted it in an interview where he said whenever opposition players talk about Babar, they refer to him as King.
Babar's poor form has given trolls an opportunity to attack him but he still has 32 international 100s. He will end with 50+ 100s for Pak and leave a legacy behind. A young Babar took Steyn on in SA and smashed him around, he won a WC game vs NZ in 2019 and destroyed Bhumrah in a 10 wicket thrashing in 2021 T20 WC. He took NZ out again in the semi of the T20 WC and stood like a rock against Cummins, Starc and Hazelwood to save a test. People glorify tulla HTBs like Head or hacks like SKY and denigrate Babar simply because he has had a bad patch.
You all fail to realize that cricket is a team game not an indivudual sports. Babar has most runs in winning cause across formats, he is the highest scorer for Pak in one edition of WC in both ODIs and T20 WCs. I mean what do you guys expect? He is not your behnoi if you have other aspirations from himWhich legacy will he leave behind? Striking at 110 in T20 WCs, hiding and failing in ICC events 50 overs or being an absolute flop in TEST cricket who cant score a 100 in SENA?
Please which legacy you referring to?
That’s because Pakistan hardly wins. And when wins, it’s mostly against Bangladesh, SL, etc.His average was 60.9 in matches Pakistan won before 2022. What else you need? Should have been averaging 100 or we should have not lost a single match because Babar Azam played??
Not answering the actual question. You all fail to realize that cricket is a team game not an indivudual sports. Babar has most runs in winning cause across formats, he is the highest scorer for Pak in one edition of WC in both ODIs and T20 WCs. I mean what do you guys expect? His overall average was around 50 too at that time, and he was performing great in ether two formats, no player was that consistent s yes three formats he was, only test format no there were better batsmen but they were not great either in t20 or ODi. Thats very simple, why are you writing big essays on this. That’s because Pakistan hardly wins. And when wins, it’s mostly against Bangladesh, SL, etc.
It’s not like Babar smashed a century at Perth or J’berg or Lords. All his games against good strong attacks on difficult pitches are excluded from this stat. Because Pakistan doesn’t win in those circumstances.
That’s why average in wins can be a very deceptive stat.
Despite his average BBL, Babar was box office in BBL. They were treating him and even Riz with reverence. The game between Riz and Babar was billed as the clash of heavyweights. Did Pakistanis consider the same arguments for SRT? Scroll back to 2000s pages on PP and you will have the answer...You all fail to realize that cricket is a team game not an indivudual sports. Babar has most runs in winning cause across formats, he is the highest scorer for Pak in one edition of WC in both ODIs and T20 WCs. I mean what do you guys expect? Again which games he won TEST and ODIs for Pak on the big stage during his so called best years? SENA and India please. His overall average was around 50 too at that time, and he was performing great in ether two formats, no player was that consistent s yes three formats he was, only test format no there were better batsmen but they were not great either in t20 or ODi. Thats very simple, why are you writing big essays on this.
He was the best all formats players during that time, now you can write bigger essays.
