Exactly. Unfortunately the scene is we are continuing to be revolving door hoping some magic will happen. That's not how it works. If they drop someone for some reason send them to NCA and domestic to fix those issues. Whether it is strike rotation, or boundary hitting, or playing against ball coming in, playing against left arm spin or wrist spin, our main batters are all carrying some weakness or other which top bowling sides won't let you carry and you get found out. Same case with Babar, zero change done, and just rewarded with come back due to failure of others. Same will happen with Rizwan due to failure of others.People were doing bhagra on his intent and blazing fast inning but the exposure came way too soon..., Mis or hit player... he will hit 1 four or a six and then he will play 6-7 dots...
Getting out in the same old manner... No improvement whatsoever.... Time is running away for him.
The revolving door continues with zero overall improving at individual batter level.
To be honest in last few years the only batters that have made some significant improvement in performance is actually among all rounders like Nawaz and hate to say it even Faheem.
But our main batters have done nothing to change and overcome their individual weaknesses. I remember Hafeez made changes and learned more six hitting ability later in his career. Why cant our current lot do the same. And if they ate not willing to, stop rewarding come backs due to failure of others, instead try other up and coming guys. Maybe a Maaz Sadaqat at some point.
