Abysmal that a city of over 20 million cannot muster even 20,000 people to come to a cricket match. Then people start moaning that it is because of the cost of atta or because have to work, as if Karachi is the only city in the world with inflation, jobs, poverty etc. It is ridiculous - let's face it, the people of Karachi are not sports, arts, culture etc lovers.
Nothing controversial. It's true.I daresay there were more people in the UAE when Pakistan played there than Pakistan now.

I'm surprised there were fans in the stadium.A First Information Report (FIR) has been registered against pitch invaders after the second ODI between Pakistan and New Zealand in Karachi on Wednesday.
One of the pitch invaders met Mohammad Rizwan and hugged the wicketkeeper-batter, while the other was caught before he could meet Pakistan skipper Babar Azam.

I know this isn't the strongest NZ touring side, but that crowd in Karachi today was embarrassing.
You have the likes of Shaheen Shah Afridi and Babar Azam out there - at least come out and watch and support those guys.
Very sad to see stands hardly even quarter full as per the below picture
