[VIDEOS] Mark Wiens in Pakistan

I think he's going to post more videos on Karachi just like he did it in lahore. If you look in the comment section he did say expect 3 more videos Friday to Sunday. Have loved this series and so proud of the hospitality he has received.

Nah at the end he said this was last and he enjoyed the whole trip

He just has one more video out today exclusively for the Karachi Bun Kebab

One more video today on Karachi and one more to come tomorrow. Told you bro!

Karachi videos were a bit disappointing... Like seriously you come to Karachi and go to a buffalo farm

Seems like Ali the tour guide (who had done an amazing job so far) wasn't aware of the better Karachi spots. Like he went to Burns Road and didn't have Sajji

He didn't have biryani from Biryani Center. He didn't go to Ghaffar kabab. Heck he could have gone to the beach and had bhutta with chaat masala and lime to get a more authentic Karachi experience than going to a freaking buffalo farm. He didn't have Gola Gunda. No Panni puri. No paratha roll.

Ok I'll just annoy myself to no end if I start listing the amount of iconic Karachi food he missed. I'll just leave it at Karachi vids being one of the worst in this series. Glad that Mark came to the city though. Often times vloggers skip it altogether.

I liked the Bun Kebab video and the beach video from today

I think Karachi was good. They missed out on Ghaffar / Waheed so that’s a downer but rest they hit most sports. The bhains colony was very pointless though

I also think he should have been taken to kolachi. I know it’s not the typical food but he did go to Monal so should have gone to a Karachi equivalent by the sea side.

its amazing how many people here and on yt are getting hissy pissy over him not trying this or that... this is not his only visit to the country.... this was just an ice breaker to the nation... he will revisit for sure... and will hit more of the popular spots or diverse spots... the series was awesome none the less thoroughly enjoyed it....

Good series, a shame it's come to an end. He gets a few million viewers so hopefully it will help promote Pakistan in a positive light.

All that seafood looks really good.

Overall an excellent series.
Loved the representation of Pakistani culture and the awesome cuisines which remain so underrated.

Yes He was here some time back. You can find the videos on his channel.
Think he covered Mumbai, Delhi and Kolkata if my memory serves me right.

Great. Are you from any of those areas? What is your local famous traditional dish?

Not really. I'm from a small village in North West India. Being a dry region, my state specializes in the cuisines which could withstand many days because of the extreme weather.

The one below is popular veg dish where I come from

This meat curry otoh is especially popular within my community

The daal dish looks very tasty. I think the people in the sub-continent are pretty lucky with all the natural spices and herbs avaialble. English food is far too bland.

Yeah it's great and you are right that it's the natural spices which makes all the difference.

Saddened but not surprised he did not visit Balochistan. Not sure what to make of his trip to 'mini Balochistan' - seemed like a weird PR Cynthia Richie type thing to do to make it seem as if everything in Balochistan was rosy when it isn't and he couldn't travel there for safety reasons not due to lack of time.

He went to Kot Yousaf village and also Gujranwala.
