[VIDEOS] The Late Shane Warne - The Greatest Leg-Spinner the world has seen?

The greatest spinner of all time also said this, would you agree? :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

He later changed his opinion and said Lara was better.

Among the Aussies of that era, everyone mentions Lara ahead of Sachin including but not limited to, Warne, Ponting, McGrath, Hayden, Brett Lee etc

How is it related? :inti

Thread is about Warne. Let's focus on Warne.

Tendulkar is not the greatest. Bradman is the greatest. :inti

eh it's close, mcgrath said Lara was harder to bowl to then Tendulkar but on pure battingwise Tendulkar might be the best ever since he avg 40+ in all countries, Lara though was better to watch maybe and he might even be a better player of spin then tendulkar but less better player of pace cause sachin had a better record against Ws, Donald/Pollock, though and has more consistency across all conditions. Also alra ahs some amazing knocks 277 vs AUS, 153* vs AUS 688 vs SL against peak murali, Tendulakr was different he was more proved against all teams in all conditions, but had a less defining series than lara still he's more consistent ina way you won't see him at the very top but you'll almsot never find him at the bottom either, but it's close, personally:
Bradman >> Hobbs= Tendulkar> Lara

I agree that Lara was overall a better player of spin than Tendulkar but disagree that Lara was better to watch. Lara had a bad technique, he moved all over the crease and his shots lacked the elegance of Tendulkar.

Look at this shot by SRT, the posture, technique, still head, he mirrors Don Bradman here, only batsmen I felt can rival SRT was probably Damien Martyn on a few occasions from an elegance and grace perspective...

Still insane that the undisputed best spinner of all time comes from a country not known for spinners before or after him.

For pace bowling, batting, keeping, captaincy you have to say “so and so is arguably the best”

Not in the case of Warne.

Also, can’t believe he grabbed Tendulkar by the neck and threw him across the pitch for bad manners.

Warne must have done that in the same nightmare where Tendulkar was carting him around the park.

On topic, I think Warne was a true magician and among the best of all time. You could create a long reel of his amazing dismissals of bewildered batsmen!

Stuart MacGill was also a great spinner who could spin the ball even more than Warne but he didn't have the same kind of variety and since Warne was playing in the similar era, he couldn't get much chances for the national team.

This is not a debate about who's better between Sachin and Lara.
I just stated a fact that almost all Aussies of the 90s-2000s era rate Lara ahead including but not limited to high profile names like Warne, McGrath, Ponting, Hayden, Lee , Gillespi etc.

Brilliant leg spinner, In test cricket a format where leg spinners fail because of lack of consistency, man was almost accurate and took 700 wkts at 25 when today a 200 at 30 is considered great, as well as he had some amazing variations such as the: wrong'un, flipper, leg spinner which were just magical which allowed him to succed in ODIs as well, and best thing is at even when he was retired or after he still was an aamzing leg spinner who lloked as dangerous as before even at 40, and had succeses even in frannchise cricket, easily the best spinner ever
