)Lol.He got enough stick from Indian batsmen for that.Indians still burning about the celebration at the Wagah Border...)

His pace was absolutely fine, was comfortably our quickest bowler today. That average speed has been pulled down because pretty much all of his final two overs consisted of slower balls.Has lost some pace.
What you see now is the real Hassan Ali. A lot of players shine in their first year. People who sustain that form are champs. The novelty that Hassan had is over. Nothing more than a mediocre or at best, above average bowler at times.
Is that one innings the end all be all of his entire test career? You seem to bring it up a lot.Don't think he has stamina and fitness to be a Test bowler.Struggled massively in the second test in England itself.
Ok. He just doesn't seem to have the same venom he used to. So is it the lack of swing you think? His pace was absolutely fine, was comfortably our quickest bowler today. That average speed has been pulled down because pretty much all of his final two overs consisted of slower balls.
Your not going to get swing after 10+ overs in the UAE.Ok. He just doesn't seem to have the same venom he used to. So is it the lack of swing you think?
It's a bit harsh but probably true. He is looking extremely ordinary nowadays. But I would give him the benefit of doubt due to UAE pitches. We should give him rest for the next UAE series so that he can get his act together and work on his weaknesses.
Not getting any better Hasan - will lose his place if this goes on.
A bit of advice.
Knuckle down and cut out the nonsense. Focus on cricket and cricket only.
Fame and fortune will come, but cricket should be the priority.

Could you elaborate?

He's been below par in this series.
A few lapses whilst fielding also.
To be fair to him, he came back well in the last couple of overs he bowled.
Looked fired up and bowled very senisbly.

Looks like he is sending a message to someone - any guesses?![]()
Good to see him thump his chest again after turning into a kitten in the Asia Cup. Another mentally weak Pakistani player who bolts under pressure. Shame.
Yes I know he was the player of the tournament in the Asia Cup, but he was largely an unknown quantity at that time. However, now that he has built up a reputation for himself and people expect him to deliver, he has started to crumble under pressure.
So we are going to assume he is mentally weak based on one poor tournament ? Amazing

The mystery factor has wore out. Everyone knows his strength and weakness now. And other teams are too professional to make their homework. He won't be as effective as he was earlier.

What mystery factor is there with Hasan Ali?
I know this guy has underperformed but see his stats in odis avg of 22 is great & with few underperformance people are already talking about dropping him and here we have bhuvi who has pathetic avg of 40 and still no one talks about dropping him.
Amir may be sure he will be back that’s why. I hope he gets dropped for SA series as well.I would give him this series (no point thinking of dropping him now) and at the end of the series see if his stats are good enough to keep him in the side or not
If not, send him back to play domestic cricket for a while and like Amir re-earn his position in the side
Side note- sad to see Amir going to play in the T10 league, should have carried on focusing on performing in domestic and then earning a call back to the National side
Yess I thought it was just usual thing but it ya done world of good.
Cheer did a good celebration on pak india border and some of the people across thw border are still not happy with that. What is the story here? As an outsider, do tell me.

It sounds like Dhoni these days.Just got an Adidas contract and has that nice flashy chain around his neck. Give him 50 more matches and he will attain Shahid Afridi status. Then he becomes undroppable. A national hero.
Education imo.Why is it that only our players suffer from this superstar syndrome. Why can't they just put their head down and work as hard as they did to get to the side.

If Amir was dropped then he deserves to be dropped as well.
