not very positive in current gold standard tournament..

This is legendary, one of the most desi quotes ever

If Aamer Yamin is impressive then why did you drop him in late 2015 despite doing nothing wrong ?

You really need to understand that captain or coach do not have single unilateral power to play or drop anyone

In any case it seems that this is a recent opinion

So that is what brought about the legendary 0(1). :afridi

Good to hear afridi talking about we kashmiri people... many of my friends watched that game at mohali vs NZ..

Expecting the quote about Kashmiri support at mohali to make headlines here.. Kashmir loves lala so much.

This is just not good.
You dont play for the crowd, you play for your country.
Afridi , Misbah and Younis arent that good which they are made out to be.

This reminds of the Gibbs match fixing game

Gibbs "I was to score less than 20 runs and than get myself out but the bowlers kept on bowling juicy half vollies. I kept on putting those balls away forgetting that I was involved in match fixing"

Brutally honest, lol.

Man I miss India/Pakistan matches in India or Pakistan. They were so much fun. 90s kids would attest to this fact.

I hope political relations of the countries improve so that we can resume cricketing ties. However, it seems unlikely in the present scenario. The current PM of Pakistan is our softest PM towards India in history perhaps, while the guy in Delhi is the hardest. We have elections next year and if someone else becomes the PM of Pakistan he won't be as cordial with India as the current guy. This may mean further worsening of ties.

in a test match against India
he opened the bowling & bowled medium fast even beating laxman couple of times with his yorker length.

Dude, even if cricket resumes, it will be boring, and won't have that rivalry touch of the past, because of our mediocre players.
