Mamoon do you really think Amir is no match to Kohli??
When Amir is on song, he is Gold standard of fast and swing bowling at the same time, we saw that in 2010 and just in final. There are very few, if any bowler who could bowl like him on such a flat deck. I also hope, he starts pitching up more often from now onward. One of his biggest disappointment for us Pakistani fans is his length, not full enough to make Batsmen play most of the time, maybe a aggressive Captain like Sarfraz and rise of Hasan will help him find his aggressive length...
Other Good thing about Amir is that he is a big match player, raises his game at important moments. Against SL, he came back strongly and got wickets and then partnership of 75, he looked more assured and clam than Sarfraz, not a single faulty shot. Against SA, his death bowling was remarkable, the way he grounded miller is as classic yorker as Ws...Even in Aisa Cup, he was switched on more than anybody else...
As I said in another thread, those 12 dropped catches, means he had to bowl 100 extra overs in test last year, 350 instead of 250, that's a lot of toll on body, not to mention lack of wickets makes you lot more tired... Last year, Pakistan played 8/9 test in 6 months, normally we play 6/7 in a year and he bowled most overs (from a seamer) in those test, that's a lot of work load for year one of return. Hopefully things will get better from here...Its a start of new Reign of Pakistani bowling, Amir and Hasan, both can swing at 140+...
