Was Javagal Srinath the best fast bowler from Asia between 1995-2001?

Won't say he was the best fast bowler but he was a workhorse and a very hardworking bowler for India. He didn't have a reliable partner like Wasim and Waqar had. He was a totally different bowler when Zaheer and Nehra started sharing the bowling responsibilities. :inti

Not more than 5 nations, but 5 nations, all of whom have at least 3 bowlers greater than India’s greatest and a much better top 10.

Take Aus for example:
Warne
Lillee
Thomson
McDermott
Gillespie
McGrath
Cummins
Johnson
Harris
ReiD

Not including Davo, Lindwall, Miller, Benaud etc as pre 1970

Or WI
Marshall
Roberts
Holding
Walsh
Ambrose
Bishop
Garner
Croft
Gibbs
Hall

SA:
Al of these since 1990
De Villiers
Pollock
Donald
Steyn
Philander
Rabada

I could go on for Pak and Eng.

When you are considering Zaheer, Singh or Shami as very good to great bowlers you are struggling

Would you agree that India has produced, at best, the 6th greatest bowling stocks throughout history

Zaheer Khan led an attack to a World Cup win with one man bowling attack show and won us a world cup. There was a period when he was one of the best bowler in the world.

You have struggled to give me 10 names for England and Pakistan since 1970s. But in terms of quality, Pakistan are far ahead no disputes on that.

All in all, as I said, a very good bowling attack and second greatest batting unit in history means we have produced many legendary cricketers in our history and that's the claim that I had made in my starting post.

England is would be closer to India but still:
Broad
Gough
Willis
Fraser
Anderson
Botham
Underwood
Swann
Flintoff
Snow

How good an attack is is relative. That’s why for me India’s is not ‘very good’ when 4 nations are clearly better.
England is would also have a better 4 man attack with
Botham
Willis
Anderson
Swann

Vs India’s:
Zaheer
Dev
Kumble
Shami/Srinath

Bumrah obviously can’t be picked because he hasn’t played enough tests yet

NZ’s four man attack is also better:
Hadlee
Boult
Southee
Vettori

Not that I am not picking Bond, like I am not picking Bumrah

Still, you are better than SL, but he gets better than one non minnows isn’t what I would call a very good attack

You are kidding me aren't you

Aus, WI, Eng, SA, Pak all have clearly better ATG bowling lineups and NZ probably too with the incomparable sir Richard
nope. we have seen most of these other so called attacks play together. india never had their best bowlers play in tandem. Makes a humongous difference. bumrah shami srinath and kapil would be elite and be able to compete with anyone. Plus add in kumble and or ashwin / jaddu/bedi.

Comfortably as a good as most top attacks.

You are judging the bowlers based on their performances when they had no quality bowling partners to play alongside them apart from bumrah and shami who are playing together. Shami is older now but still quality.

most great bowling attacks had multiple quality bowlers in the side. india never did until now. Just add in kapil and srinath at his best or zaheer and India's bowling would look better tenfold.

I agree australia has a better attack and so does south africa. But India's attack is comparable to the rest. Australia always 2 - 3 quality bowlers in their ranks in most era's. so did saffers. So we have seen their best player bowl together. We haven't seen India's best operate together.
