Was pursuing the Panama Case against the former PM correct vs addressing other pressing issues?

Some people at dinner tables who are hardcore Noora's and i am sorry to say but some Punjabi's i continously run into blindly support PML-N irrespective of what they do purely because of the Punjab factor alone more than actual performance.

They criticize Imran Khan for pursuing the panama case because it was not in the national interest to constantly distract a sitting prime minister in office from addressing the immediate problems of the country and that it served as a disruption and was not good for democracy.

My argument was that the PM if he was clean could have been comfortably exonerated in the panama case without employing the full state machinery and could have focused on the immediate problems of the country as well and comfortably have done his job on a daily basis as well i.e. if you truly have nothing to hide.

But i would like a consensus on this. Do you believe the whole Panama case event was worth it, all the time spent in the SC, in the JIT when the country has other immediate pressing problems as well?

Ofcourse it was. It has set a precedence for all others and rule of law has been implemented. This judgement with the NABs judgements (in shallah) will be the foundations of New Pakistan.

Corruption was, is and will remain Pakistan's biggest issue. Fix corruption and then you may start solving some of the other issues. Sending home a corrupt PM is the initiation of the process of curbing corruption.



I'd much rather have a pagal Imran (as the jahil Nooras put it) as the PM than a chor lotera like Nawaz.



Besides its highly unfair to the rest of the provinces that the sitting government only has support from one province and have nearly zero presence in other provinces, yet they are ruling over all of Pakistan.

You show me a Noora who is more loyal to PK than the Sharifs, i will show you a liar. The Panama case is amongst the important in PK'S history because people in power cannot act with impunity when they are in power.
