Kenya reached CWC semi finals in 2003 it didnt mean they were better than others who didn’t reach semis.

The same logic can be applied to Afghanistan T20 defeat in Asia cup. Just because they and sri lanka didn't qualify for super 4, doesn't mean Pakistan and Bangladesh are better than them.

While Asia Cup is a low profile tournament, WT20 is the real arena to prove. Afghans managed to reach the SF of WT20 2024. They beat Aus in an ICC tournament. (Outplaying Aus in an ICC tournament remains a distant dream for most asian teams).
