... or in a crunch, pressure situation at least (because a game going down to the last over with a particular bowler being entrusted to do the job every time doesn´t happen everyday)?
I´ve been cricket since decades now and following Sami´s career closely, at least I can´t recall anything such. All that I recall is him conceding some 15 runs against Mathews once, once bowling an almighty over to Mahmudullah thanks to big no-balls in a crunch situation, then that six by Elliot recently when nine wickets were down.
Anyway, credit to him for pulling off on his birthday the unlikeliest win. Surely, not too many have defended five off the last over. I can´t remember Quetta ever losing a close game, so to choke them who choke others deserves credit.
I´m curious, why did Sarfraz call for Anwar Ali to be sent ahead of Perera? I know the latter is no world-beater but he´s always the guy to pull off a blow, and is an international with a lot more experience under his belt. Really strange. Anwar´s 2 off 5 did the trick.
