True, he was our Bhuvenshwar Kumar.
I always thought Asif of was a better seam bowler rather than swing bowler.
Amir on the other hand was an exceptional swing bowler.
And people are falling for it.![]()
True, he was our Bhuvenshwar Kumar.
Mohammad Asif is the best pace bowler we ever produced, he could have been greater than Akram.
Killing time through trolling, I thought its obvious.![]()
True, he was our Bhuvenshwar Kumar.
That type of trolling is strictly prohibited.
I knew that you can't possibly mean that but still why even write such a thing.
True that. GOAT material.
The way he used to set up batsmen and that late seam, swing was just a sight to behold. Magical. I don't think I have ever seen anyone swing/seam it so late.
True, he was our Bhuvenshwar Kumar.
Astagfirullah who are you comparing who to asif and bhuvenaeshwar oh boy you must be in a different world there possibly will never be a bowler like asif he could swing the ball on dead tracks in sri Lanka and your comparing him to bhuvenshar that is a sin to be honest.
True, he was our Bhuvenshwar Kumar.

Best cricketer ever produced by Pakistan.

Judging by the reaction here, God bless you.Mamoon
Agreed....My biggest disappointment of the fixing saga was Asif, not Amir....Tho i can understand why some would rate the latter higher as Amir had a good 4 to 5 years leverage to develop his skills fully.
Asif was the most charismatic bowler ive seen...even more so than Akhtar, for very different reasons obviously...The accuracy of McGrath coupled with the skill of Wasim..with a bowling intellect that surpassed both..
I never thought i had the capacity to feel sorry for a sociopath but i do...if only he had been more careful...he was never going to learn or feel guilty ,im dead sure he doesnt have the necessary biological apparatus to do that...but maybe if he had more control over his impulsivity, he could have gone on to play for 4 or 5 more years before eventually getting caught.
Even his no ball was performed with scientific precision)
Agree with your post though, Asif will always be the bigger loss. I doubt we'll find another bowler like him again. He's the sought of character that enjoyed living on the edge up until the point where he was shot in battlereminds me a bit of scarface

In 2011 WC, Imran Khan was paid some Rs 300 Crores apparently for his analysis. I wonder how much would this channel be paying him now?
Do you have a source with that? Because even Rs 300 crores is asking WAY too much for an hour long analysis.
Either a massive typo or trolling...yeah I'm sure they paid him $30 Million...which probably the entire salary of all the International cricketers in the world combined
Shahrukh Khan probably doesnot take 300 crore for a movie. Not even Amitabh Bachchan.
Infact, Shahrukh Khan's movie has never crossed the 300 crore mark at the domestic box office.
So I'm thinking the figure is somewhere 3 crore. Can't be more than that for a 6 hour match analysis honestly.

with a little more height a touch more zip ... and a little more accuracy ...
This asif have already bowled on phattas of sub-continent, uae pitches are nothing special.
He's right that Aamir is much better then Waz was at the same age. Aamir is also a better cheat as well!![]()
No Wasim was better as he never got caught even though he was king of match fixing and that's a fact
1.People forget what a 18 year old Wasim did versus WI in 1980s.
2.Someone being better than someone at 18-19 doesnt mean they will be better over their careers.I can give numerous examples of people making their debut at 18-19-20 and scoring test hundreds while ATGs like Dravid/Viv etc made their test debuts at 22-23.So all these comparisions at this age that age are to be taken with a lot of salt.Lets not forget that ATGs like Tendulkar/Dravid/Ponting/Lara/Kallis etc rated Wasim Akram as the greatest bowler they faced.
Post of the Year! You made my day Mamoon.True, he was our Bhuvenshwar Kumar.
Imran Khan also didn't know what Kohli's actual name was.
He was like 'Whats his name, Vir-ot Kohli?'
Does he do this on purpose or does he actually know the names and acts like he doesn't know anything?
Calm down.
No one said Amir was an ATG AT THAT Time.
But he had potential and showed clear signs of becoming an ATG.
He was better than the world's best swing bowler at a similar age and tell me ONE OTHER BOWLER who has ever been labeled like that.
It doesnt matter who was better than whom at what age. What matters is what they do over their careers. Many Pakistani batsman made test debuts before the age of 22 -23 and scored test centuries etc etc.So at age 17 18 19 20 21 or 22 they were better than lets say a Viv who debut at 22 or Dravid who debut at 23.But we know wh ended up being ATGs.
Also all this hoopla around Amir is based on his performance in England?Right?Lets see what he does after his comeback.
I didn't know I could be such a master troll.![]()
My first instinct is that the keeper should be a specialist so that even if he doesn’t score atleast he does his prime job right
I concur...so does Pieterson.
I have yet to see a talent of the sort of Mohammad Amir at his young age – Even Wasim Akram in that age was not so good He has all the qualities of a top bowler
He was punished and he should be allowed back as he has served time
