Umar Amin was inducted into the Test side - that too against a top quality team.
Windies is not THAT good a team. So we can afford to take the risk.

On a separate note, Hammad was selected in the A team for the Windies tour, too. But he missed it due to a shoulder injury.

Potentially - But I think the same principle applies...

If he isnt a success people will say he was playing a rubbish team and STILL wanst successfulll...

Personally, I would prefer to see him be more successfull in the A team before being selected internationally....
