OMG yes this was a typical Omer Brain fart just when I was getting easy.
 
It was there to be dispatched, just couldnt execute the shot. Ball bounced a bit more than he anticipated!
 
Rehman needs to get his 2nd test 50 here to get Pakistan as close as possible to the Windies score of 226!
 
So, I guess Akmal is to blame for the collapse then?

Bad shot, BUT that's how he bats. He was actually quite controlled today.
 
I don't blame him he came under immense pressure and saved Pakistan from an embarrassment.

that bowl was actually quite juicy for any attacking batsman, unfortunate for umar he couldn't execute it well

Under the circumstance Umar Akmal played very well this was a key partnership and he did more than what the top 4 batsman did. He played a stupid shot and has not faced Bishoo much in the ODI's so he thought he would be able to put that ball away.

There is still a 2nd innings i'm sure he will score a 50+ or even a century to make up for that silly shot.

i have complaints about this batting order..
why does umar akmal comes so down the order followed by the tail? shouldn't an attacking batsman come in the middle to give him more chance to play freely without too much pressure on him!
i've always believed misbah is the one who should be trying to stick around with the tail in all forms of the game as he has done that very well at many occasions

Gul went for his favorite shot the pull but only manages it to lob it in the air for the WK to take a dolly.
 
seriously .. both these teams are trying their best to prove a point to each other in this format :facepalm:
