Man I wish they had kept sahibzada back would have been a good change to bring him in at the top.
Also bowling wise could have tried salman mirza. Not sure why Naseem selected to begin with.

Windies have a 75% win record chasing

100% they will be favourites if Pak bat first.
Pakistan cannot win if they bat first unless fakhar is involved. These boys aren't built for that.

Abdullah, Babar, Rizwan followed by Agha and Talat has to be the worst batting lineup i have ever seen.

I like Agha and talat but their not the perfect fit but idm them too much.

The batting needs to be built around saim, Farhan, Nawaz, Muhammad Haris and Fakhar(as long as fakhar is active). If it wasnt for that case, id advocate a return for Haider Ali as well.

I'd replace Talat with Kamran Ghulam who i believe is a better odi batsmen.

1) Fakhar
2) Saim
3) Shahibzada Farhan (I think he can slot at no 3 and do well tbh in odi)
4) Kamran Ghulam
5) Hasan Nawaz
6) Salman Ali Agha (use him as a makeshift batter, Promote him to no 4 if 2 wickets fall before the 15th to 20th over)
7) Muhammad Haris

^^ This is a solid odi team

Pakistan is carrying to many passengers at the moment past reputations babar rizwan hassan ali mohd nawaz afridi naseem faheem we need to invest in youngsters going back to ttf is no brainer off course not ever young player is going to be successful like hasan nawaz but still we need to give them the chance to prove themselves these oldies are a cancer to Pakistan cricket

Do you follow Bangladesh Cricket as closely as Pakistan Cricket?

I follow many teams. I even follow Uganda. :inti

I am a cricket fan first. I am not emotionally attached to any team (not even my country's team). I just want to see good cricket.

It is probably because I used to play hard ball cricket myself here in Canada; I don't look at things as an armchair critic. I look at things objectively and neutrally.

If it's being played on the same strip then I will go with.

Abdullah
Saim
Babar
Hussain talat (left hand batter)
Agha Salman
Rizwan
Hassan Nawaz

Hassan Ali
Abrar

Bowling averages of some of Pakistan’s part-time bowlers in ODIs this year:

147.00 Salman Agha
105.00 Khushdil Shah
81.90 Saim Ayub

Shaheen Afridi in ODIs since SA/NZ ODI tri-series from earlier this year:

12 wickets @ 35.58. ER: 7.00, SR: 30

Take out the 4-fer against West Indies from the first ODI and that bowling average jumps to 47

He is bowling worse than a trundler right now.

Salman is really not good for limited overs cricket. He's nothing more than a filler. Don't expect him to get you wickets. Pakistan only has 1 ready wicket taker spinner in limited overs and that's Abrar. M Nawaz is also gaining in confidence and he is 2nd wicket taker.

Sufiyan is young. Pakistan need to play Sufiyan and Abrar as much as they can.

All eyes on Babar, Rizwan and Salman. Each side getting its knives ready.

Match 1: All three gave meh performances and pak won. This gave both sides support for their arguments.

Match 2: All three gave bad performances and Pak lost. Again giving ample content for both sides.

Series is so nicely set. It’s not Pak vs WI any more, it’s about Babar, Rizwan and Salman.

Isn’t Hassan Nawaz wasted at 7? I mean that’s too low, I think he can play longer innings. No. 6 is fine for now. Later he should move higher.

I wouldn't get too excited about Nawaz. His bowling record in ODIs against teams that aren't minnows or West Indies is truly atrocious. Tailender-like numbers with the bat too. He's a minnow-basher and rating him as anything more is a mistake in my eyes. For me his incompetence was exposed in the 2023 World Cup where he averaged like 111 with the ball on pitches where bowlers like Mitch Santner were among the best ones of the tournament.

Pakistan need to get real and stop relying on part-timers so much. This strategy is simply not working. It's one thing to have one part-timer. But Pakistan are actively looking at part-timers as the fifth bowling option.

Bro nawaz got the most turn in last match i am not sure who is better than him in pakistan with both bat and ball guy can turn the ball sufiyan is still not ready for odis yet and i am a huge fan of sufiyan in t20 he is great but in odis sufiyan needs time as of now nawaz is a decent option for slow pitches of tri series and asia cup still remember how he won pakistan a match vs india the n asia cup he surely can bowl and bat its all about giving him confidence and don't drop him that's where we as nation get wrong we are to quick to drop players.

Hope there are no interruptions with the weather. Today was very hot son. Sadly we may have some rain tomorrow. That is how the weather pattern is in the rainy season. :( I think Windies will be very confident to win tomorrow.(y)

I think should bat higher but we need left handed in the top 5/6 and pluss we need a finisher.
