Mine were as follows:

1. Logan

4. Dunkirk
5. War for the Planet of the Apes

Besides these my guilty pleasures were Star Wars The Last Jedi, Guardians of the Galaxy, SpiderMan, Valerian and Lego Batman.

Haven't seen too many movies that came out this year tbh. Top 5 would probably be:

Get Out
Logan
Dunkirk
The Foreigner
The Big Sick

I forgot about IT as well, that would make my top 5 as well. Decent horror is rare these days

I don’t like SRK last movie I liked of his was Chak de.. Haven’t watched Fan but heard it’s good.. Watched raees was garbage..

Watch Hindi medium and jolly llb 1 and 2 if you haven’t good comedy movies..

Dangal, it, baby driver were 3 of my favourite movies I watched in the cinema this year. Also watched Dunkirk but that's not really my type of movie and I was very tired as well during the movie. I think those are the only 4 movies I watched in the cinema this year.

I've not seen any of his mainstream ones to be honest, always check out the ones I know will be good though. Might have a look at those

No super hero movie on in cutters list , what is this sorcery :ashwin

Same here, I've only watched a few here and there in cinema but been going through the list of interesting releases in 2017 this month. Tbh I don't know if there's a lot of quality out there anymore, in 1994 alone you got pulp fiction, the shawshank redemption, the lion king, the mask, speed, interview with the vampire etc

Baby Driver
Blade Runner 2048
Gifted
Manchester by the Sea
Punjab Nahi Jaungi

1) Blade Runner 2049
2) The Disaster Artist
3) Logan
4) Dunkirk
5) Wind River

Watched Disaster artist just few days ago, really enjoyed it....

... but then watched Jumanji yesterday because my family really wanted to watch it. If there was a ranking above #1 that's where I'd put it.

I don't know if I've even seen five movies this year. That's how depressing my year was in terms of leisure and personal time.

Of the few I have seen, the ones that stand out are Get Out, Split and Dangal.

Saw Bright on Netflix yesterday - interesting concept, great acting from Will Smith and Joel Edgerton but poor writing and a very undercooked script.

Far too much happening for one film without much back story for the audience to immerse themselves into this alternate universe. Would have been much better as a series and more character development.

I am actually not a superhero movie fan like you think I am :yk3

I like to explore independant movies too. Sometimes it’s the little known movies that turn out to be gems.
For me, the 80’s was the best era...so many great ones from those years.

only watched wonder woman, logan, and lego batman. Will watch dunkirk since Nolan is my fav direction after Scorsese. And maybe JL....maybe.

Don't bother with JL, lego batman was great but the original lego movie was better

Logan was great though. True, indie movies can be great narrative wise. Those decades had excellent releases

Is it as good as the reviews/ratings show ?

On metacritic it has a rating of 58 which is not spectacular but not terrible either, by Dwayne standards it must be like an academy nominated movie though.

I was just exaggerating lol, it's a run of the mill adventure/comedy. Some scenes are amusing and it's a pretty fun take on the original Jumanji. It's like a 7/10 in all honesty.

Saw it today morning. Pretty Darn fun. I'd say its the most entertaining popcorn movie of the year, with a show stealing performance from Jack Black. GotG2 or Ragnarok may be 'better' films, but I for sure am feeling the Superhero fatigue. This on the other hand was pretty much expected to suck (Rock + Kev Hart, not so great source material/franchise) , yet it was pleasantly surprising.
