19 wickets, captain of the team of the tournament, captain of champions for PSL X.

To be fair, it is a low-profile T20 series. He was probably given a rest after a hectic PSL.

Shaheen told in his post PSL win press conference that he talked with coach before the squad announcement and they both agreed that this series should be used to try out other players.

Shaheen had a good PSL, actually he surpassed Naseem and others but Naseem got a free pass.

You don't need Shaheen to defeat the mighty Bangla Tigers who have been unable to win against USA, UAE like teams recently.

Probably rested as Bangladesh series is the best opportunity to test the bench strength. :kp

Shukr hai. Part of the reason Shaheen lost his zip and mojo was because he was being played every game whether it was against NZ, Nepal or Sri Lanka. No other team would have treated their best bowler like this. So this is something to rejoice about that Pakistan is finally having the guts to rotate players

Maybe they are trying to manage workload and test the bench strength simultaneously. Many of them were over used recently in back to back series, increasing the chances of injury. Good decision ahead of the big tournaments in line.
