So Australia reeling right now at 28/3 after 11 overs. What do you think will be a total they can defend?

It has been a bat first and win type of World Cup if you can put runs on the board. So will an average score such as 250 be enough?

I think 250+ and Aussies are going to win. Gotta bat really well to get there Carey and Smith need to have a big partnership!

England just need to see off the first 10 overs without losing more than a wicket and they should chase be able to chase anything up to 280. Not sure Australia will get to that total having lost 3 early wickets.

250+ with Australia's pacers is a great score.

The pressure of a semi-final immediately adds 20+ runs to the total. It's just a completely different ball game.

These two are rebuilding. 250 + could be defended.

So will 224 be a good enough target? I don’t think so but you never know with the Aussie fighting spirit and bowling attack.

If Australia don't take wickets in first power play then England will chase 223 easily.England bat very deep.
