I like odi way more then t20 cricket. T20 for me is just an entertainment house. And t20 wc had lost relevance for me when it's been played 3x in 4 years lol.

2021 2022 and 2024

No T20 WC was held from 2017 to 2020 (both years inclusive). That was a huge gap of almost 5 yrs. To make it up, 2021 & 2022 were held (Yes it got closer, but there was no other way).

Me as an Indian fan:-

1. Olympics - the value of a medal in olympics surpassed that of world cups for me. It is a multi event sport and a gold can absolutely boost the ranking of a nation in a table and create legacy. Even if it is T20, the olympics will be the prime event for me

2. Home series **losses** against teams - What i mean here is that i dont care if we win home series vs top nations. However, I absolutely do care if we lose a series. We have not lost a series since England 2011. The day we would lose is the day I might quit cricket.

3. Away series win in SA - the only one we didn't get yet

4. Odi World Cup - Pinnacle of ICC tournaments. Nothing much to explain

5. Away series win in England - It has been a while since we won in England and while we did retain the trophy, an absolute series victory is definitely more satisfying.

6.Wt20 - T20 world cup, happens 2 years but is definitely more entertaining to watch ( I know this is blasphemy but tell me, can you ever top Afg vs Bang of this year's wt20)

7. WTC - its flawed but I would definitely love to have it in the cabinet of our team. Wish ICC structures it better

8. Away series win in Aus - have won the last two, wouldn't mind losing this one.

9. CT - kinda useless since there is an odi world cup. Vanity trophy

10. Asia cup odi/t20i - cabinet filling trophies

11. Bilaterals - jamodis and jamt20s, useless

For best results, I think you should focus on the “Rest” as that’s what you will get.

3. Test series against anyone else

Beyond that, not terribly bothered.
