.In theory, no Indian party in power will ever be beneficial for Pakistan but humor us and tell us if election one of the 2 main contenders could help Pakistan in any way.

Modi comes and does another Sir ji kal strike and gets humiliated once again. No other country has to do anything cox CHOWKIDAAR NARENDRA MODI IS THERE.

BJP...

It’s very divisive and creating friction within different communities in India, so obviously it can be only good for Pakistan.

It depends on what does one mean by beneficial. Indian stance against Pakistan has always been the same that talk and terror cant go together. Pakistan first needs to act against terrorist camps hiding in their country before any dialoge regarding Kashmir issue. It really does not matter which party rules India. BJP only been in power since 2014 but even before that Congress govt had same stance against Pakiatan. Yes, BJP/Modi may be bit more expressive as far as Pak is concerned but dont be fooled that Congress would open arms immidiately to Pak. India have lots of internal issues and all political parties differ in ideologies but when it comes to Pakistan...every party has same stance, including muslim parties AIMIM. There is a reason during Balakot strike...entire nation...all parties forgot politics for few days and stood behind govt of India.

For Ind-Pak relation to become better...the one and only option is Pak acting on terror. There is no two ways about it and it has nothing to do with Indian internal party politics.

This is true, but the UPA government was certainly timider when dealing with Pakistan (such as their inaction after 2008).

this poll is facetious. there should be another option: either outcome benefits pakistan.

once the election cycle is over, the saber ratting will subside.

i dont understand why you cry about the terrorist camps, when India funded the mukti bahini.

Do you really expect that after that event, Pakistan were not gonna stoop to your level?

I will quote Arvind Kejriwal’s quote:

“Modi sarkaar nai woh kardiya joh Pakistan 70 saalon mai na karsaka.”

I think this pretty much sums it up.

No party will benefit Pakistan.

The Indian politicians represent the mindset of the Indian public.

Millions can potentially die on each side of the border...

India has been so macho in the last few years and i dont see peace.

Imo, I honestly believe (No sarcasm) A child named Rahul Gandhi (Congress) would be beneficial for India's neighbours like Pakistan and China. Uncle Imran would offer Rahul a box of poppins and he would instantly sign over Indian Kashmir to Pakistan and if Uncle Imran got a little more creative and offered a box of dairy milk chocolate blocks with the poppins he would sign over Hyderabad to Pakistan also. His mommy Sonia would instruct him to give away all disputed territories with China for a lump sum payment from the Chinese to her Italian overseas account.. The result of all this would be good for India's neighbours but not India.

Pakistan needs to focus on building excellent diplomatic relations with other countries which it is doing, this will get the Indian government take note. As long as there is no misadventure by them in the development process of Naya Pakistan I believe they will take a softer approach towards Pakistan.

There will never be peace been india and pakistan. not sure about pakistanis, but indian (so called ) liberals have a very low opinion about pakistan (they always use Pakistan and muslim militant groups as the standard when making comparisons) and come across as holier than thou ( we don't want to become hindu pakistan, we are not a theocracy like our neighbours, etc etc). although one saving grace about them is that they dont indulge in anti pakistan rhetoric and are mostly anti war ( except that they love 1971 fall of dhaka and praise indira gandhi for that)

BJP obviously, no one plays divide and rule quite like them. Also they might be tempted to try 'Sirjeekal' strikes again and hence lose more aircraft :))

Pray Pray for Rahul Gandhi. It wont even go to civil war, India will be broken up peacefully

not so sure about that.
maybe 5 years of BJP is just as likely to work.

the upcoming elections for india are a lose lose for the people of india and are symptomatic of the problems of democracy. the voters have two main candidates and both selections are wrong.

One is in incompetent ruler cum terrorist, who tried to start a potential nuclear war to divert attention from his failed domestic policies , to get elected.

The other is only there because he has the right surname; his own party is a tried and tested bunch of failures.

BJP will win and the things will normalize untill next election. To get elected again they will then start with hate speech against Pakistan and set up some Pulwamas.
Poor indians, abhi tak yeh chaal bhi nahi samjh sake.

Don't think it matters much to Pakistan who wins the election. However, for India's own minorities it is crucial that BJP doesn't win. It's fast becoming a non-tolerant right wing hindu state under BJP
