What should be Asad Shafiq's batting position in the Test series against England?

Lets face it - he is one of our key batsmen so he will play and is needed to shore up the batting order.

But what is the idea position for him in this series?

I think he will bat at 5, but I would elevate Rizwan to 5 and play Shafiq at 6 - it’s where he is most effective.

He needs to be given responsibility and bat at 5 and not hide him down the order

After his poor run at 3 and 4 he will bat at 5. It's sad that the most experienced guy in the line up can't succeed at the most important positions.

The good thing being that Asad has looked since Aus series. He is in good form.

I don't see what the difference is in batting at 5 vs 6. Either of those work for him, following Azhar and Babar
