What to do when you want time to fly during Ramadan?? I try to read a Spara everyday (so far successful!) but I watched a movie and like 2 hours flew passed! So any tips?

Watch some MIT lectures or tutorials. Lots of excellent educational videos on youtube for those who are too lazy or bored to read a book.

Plan for the future. I've been planning out my degree in my spare time..

Haven't been doing too much ibadat this year I'm afraid. Full time university can take a toll esp in Ramzan.. ;/

I try to have a long discussion with Indians on Youtube.

Would be nice to know you. I pose as a Pakistani posing as an Indian with one of my youtube accounts and leave nasty comments on some videos, and love the hate messages I get in my inbox.

Read The Economist. Don't think there's any other journal/publication/newspaper that covers such a wide array of topics from all over the world in such detail as TE.

I am really impressed by your knowledge and the way you articulate yourself. Can you recommend what are the sources that you read to maintain that? Since I went on medication, I have trouble sometimes writing a coherent post, and envy people like you, saadibaba and Nostalgic who have the gift of using the precise word to express themselves.

What kind of medication if you don't mind sharing?

For depression. Has helped me, but I hate that I have to depend on medicines. And my brain is not as powerful as it used to be. I was a mental calculator, now I feel the stress in my parietal lobes when I try some mental arithmetic.

Intrinsic thinking.

When you're bored, just stop and think about your life. Think about something. Go deep and dwell further to pass the time. It really helps you gain a better understanding of your position or processes within your life.

How does anyone even get bored in the age of the internet?! I find myself having the opposite problem of too many things to watch/read.

I usually watch shows, browse Twitter, read articles/papers, Youtube...and sometimes just sit and plan for the future.

I usually hit the Coursera website or visit some Youtube channels, Mediocrefilms, Vitaly and Fouseytube being some of my favorites.

Quite a lot of generic advice being given.
GO OUT lol. But seriously, go out for a walk. Meet up with a few mates- if you have a car, drive about..if not then go for a walk. Trust me, time flies. I was with a friend and all we were doing was driving across the city back and forth- it may sound boring but if you cruise or drive quickly aka having fun then time flies. I went out for like what felt 1 hour and it had turned out to be 4 hours. Apart from praying, going out is the best way to kill time in Ramadan.
What I'm trying to say as a whole I guess is do something you find fun.

It could be the depression, not the medications. When you don't take medication, do you get your mental calculator back?

Phone a friend. Time flies when talking to a friend.

Gone are those days when you can go for a drive everytime you feel bored . petrol prices are too damn high

Use the time to help someone less fortunate than yourself, this multiplies the benefits of your time.

With books I never feel bored. However, If I am tired of reading a book, my old german lady has a dog, I do drills with him. With dogs and books, you can never feel bored and only enrich yourself and increase your mentation at the end of the day.

I meditate or phone old friends who have not been in contact for ages.
