So I would like to think that a nice green top in cloudy conditions would be great if we can send England in to bat first. However, if we have to bat first on such conditions - we could be all out for 80 knowing that a batting collapse is always around the corner when it comes to Pakistan.
On paper - a flat dry wicket benefits us more but I shudder at the thought of us losing the loss and England batting first on such a wicket and if Cook / Root return to form - we could be starring at a 500+ first innings score by England and with scoreboard pressure - we might get blown away like we did at Old Trafford two years ago.
What do you guys think?
