Rohit Sharma... just really satisfying to see

India 0/1 (0.3 overs)

Definitely should be the wicket of Kohli, to get the wicket of Number 1 batsman a ball later when he was dropped must be a special moment.

1) Kohli
2) Rohit
3) Dhawan

All three.

Dhawan : was the best player of this Champions Trophy and the last edition..

Kohli : the greatest chaser in all of cricket EVER. Only man with a 50+ average in all formats and he had a 100 plus batting average in this tournament. So he was in the form of his life. And Amir dismissed him not once but twice in the same match.

Rohit : the greatest opener in the world hands down. Only player with 2 Double Tons in ODIs and the highest score ever by a batsman.

And last of all they are all great chasers and extremely clutch.

Dhawan for me. He was the one I feared could take the game away from us.

Rohit is his bunny

Even in the first game he was all over him

Virat was easily the best, got him out twice in two balls

Virat.

1) Renowned GOAT chaser in ODIs
2) Best Batsman in Indian Side
3) Dropped the Ball Before
4) India's Captain

These are the reasons Kohli's wicket was his best.

From a pure skill POV, I'd take Rohit's wicket. The classic inswinger.

The wicket of Virat was special...Amir bowled him an in-siwinger first up...and then set him up on the off stump with deliveries that either shaped away or held the line. Kohli got the leading edge because he anticipated the ball to come back in..he was looking to play on the leg side.

Dhawan's ball required the most skill, accuracy and planning. The best ball was the dropped catch; lively pace, extra bounce and seamed away a touch.

Rohit Sharma, dream like ball for every left hand fast bowler. Especially in first over.

I think dhawan's wicket was the best because by that time the swing was gone, and dhawan was set at the crease to make a big one.

That wicket needed brains and Amir showed that even without the swing he can set up the batsman nicely dragging him on to the front foot outside off stump.

It was also bowled with cross seam and got some extra bounce. Clever cricket.

First ball to Kohli it was quick and snaking back in and was past him before he got the bat down would have knocked the timber had it been on the stumps.

All the wickets were equally important. But,I think Virat Kohli's wicket was the most important wicket for the obvious reasons.

But more importantly what that spell did was it exposed the middle order of Indian batting which wasn't tested throughout the tournament.

If by best you mean by skill then it was Rohit Sharma. Most important was Kohli and the icing on the cake was Dhawan. His best ball wasn't either of those though, it was the dropped catch of Kohli. That ball was one of his best ever. Shame that Azhar dropped it.

Rohit was always a walking wicket from the 1st delivery :yk . Basic 2 away, 1 in plan.

The slip catch of Kohli was a regulation (for Amir and Kohli's obvious weakness in that area) 4th stump delivery. A pity it was dropped. Although the leading edge delivery was awesome as well, I'd rate the anterior better.

Now, Dhawan's was the best, because here Amir exposed Dhawan with cross-seam, without any room. It required plan, execution and intellect from bowler.

My vote: Dhawan's cross-seamer.

Kohli. Looked like repeat of Asia Cup 2016. I know it's not an option (the one dropped at slip), but if it were taken, prob that.

Kohli 100%. He got him out twice in two balls. Made him look like a tailender. Only Amir has the ability to do something like that. Ability wise, he is the best bowler in the world.

I think Dhawan's wicket was the best as there was no swing or seam, just a beautiful cross-seam delivery. But, all the wickets were important, nonetheless.

Virat.

1) Renowned GOAT chaser in ODIs
2) Best Batsman in Indian Side
3) Dropped the Ball Before
4) India's Captain

These are the reasons Kohli's wicket was his best.

From a pure skill POV, I'd take Rohit's wicket. The classic inswinger.

for all the above reasons Kohli wicket can be biggest wicket of the match but the OP is asking for Amir's best wicket and the above reasons doesn't fulfill the conditions except that he was being dropped the ball before.

Mostly people are arguing because Kohli's wicket was biggest so it is the best....however the OP is asking in perspective of Amir's best bowling.

Although all wickets are at it best but in my opinion Rohit's wicket was the best as he was so clueless and doesn't know how to handle Amir's deliveries.

Rohit. Because he set him up. Kohli was out both times to shots he shouldn't have played

Kohli's because:-

1. He was the most important wicket in the lineup
2. Amir's first delivery to him was an inswinger which cut him in half so Kohli knew he had to watch out for it.
3. The delivery that he bowled to Kohli and the catch was dropped at slip was the outswinger or the one going across him.

4. The next and best delivery Amir bowled was the wicket taking one. Kohli knew he just nicked the straighter one and was probably in two minds on the next delivery, thinking it may be an inswinger he played across the line to the straighter/outswinging delivery and the rest is history.

In fact you could say he bowled three brilliant deliveries to Kohli and each one was as good as the other.

I dont know which was the best as all 3 for me are simply amazing.

BUT Rohit Sharma is so clue less vs Amir haha...
