So 3 in 3 defeats for Pindiz , looking certain now , something has to change the owners might run out of patience also.

Surprised that Fawad Ali hasn't bowled a single ball in domestic after last year's PSL.

Perhaps Rizwan really didn't have a choice but to play Jalat once Naseem got injured . Other option was Razaullah who has pathetic numbers in domestic white ball cricket.

Needs to come in for Amir. They should just suck it up and play a completely young bowling side till the end of the tournament. Benefits far outweigh the negatives

Forrester shared following thoughts in post match:

On the PSL Experience
* "This tournament is amazing. If you look at the names of Tim David and Harry Brook and what they've done in their careers so far, it just shows you how good of a tournament this is."
* "The quality here is so good. As a player, you just keep on growing. If you see how these games are going, it shows the class that this PSL is producing."
* "From a personal point of view, I'm loving it and growing as a player."

On Team Performance and Momentum
* "The batting has been very good at the moment, but if you look at the game, it's also fine margins."
* "It takes one game and then you can go on a winning streak very easily. In T20s, one good catch or one good innings and all of a sudden the team gets on a roll."
* "In our camp, everything is positive; everyone is still believing."

On Mohammad Rizwan’s Captaincy
* "Rizwan has been amazing—such a calm leader. It is my first time meeting him and I feel he is a very good captain."
* "He is a good leader and keeps everyone calm. I think Rizwan is top class."

On Making His Debut

* "First of all, it was excitement. I have always wanted to play in the PSL. Growing up as a kid, you watch this tournament, so knowing I was going to make my debut was super exciting."
* "Rizwan came to me and said to have a clear mind and back my options. The coaching staff also said to just be myself, give myself a bit of time, and go enjoy it."
* "Luckily enough, it came off tonight and I really enjoyed it. It was a
good feeling."

Richard Gleeson shared following thoughts in post match presser:

On the PSL Experience and Islamabad United

* "First time playing the PSL and thoroughly enjoying it so far. Some some good cricket, some competitive cricket."
* "Islamabad United have been brilliant so far, really clear, a lot of trust in the players, a lot of trust in our abilities and what we can do."
* "We've got the full backing of the of the team and the franchise and it's it's so far so good. It's been great."

On Playing Without Crowds in Pakistan
* "It'd be nice to have crowds, I won't lie. I've experienced the Pakistani crowds before and and they were uh really passionate and loud."
* "Without the fans that's that's half of the experience of playing. So obviously they can watch at home and but we'd love to have them back in the stadium hopefully sooner than later."
* "It's good that we we can still put on a show and and give people something to watch and get behind."
* "There's nothing better than playing in front of a packed house especially with the passion that you get over here in Pakistan."

On Playing Conditions and Bowling Strategy
* "It's slightly different today. Uh, obviously there's been lots of rain around. Um, a little bit cooler. So, I think that helped with with the swing."
* "There was lots of swing early, so that was something me and him tried to utilize. Uh, tried to ask good questions, pitch the ball up, give give the ball a chance to swing."
* "Back end a little bit slow. So, cutters um good communication I think has been key for us so far with the ball and hopefully we can carry that on."

Razaullah is far better then jalat Khan. Tall, quick and can hit slog a couple.

If you read the Pindiz page, it was thought this team was picked expertly by Rizwan
Their team has no balance and zero depth in the bowling department. I can't believe they were seriously relying on past his prime Amir and Naseem, who has never been a good T20 bowler. Daryl Mitchell is their fifth bowling option.

They have some good players but they will never be able to properly deliver because they are stuck in a wretched side where the captain who also opens the batting eats up four overs in the powerplay and the bowlers can't go under 10 PRO if their life depended on it

They can still give improved performances if they throw Rizwan out, promote Abdullah Fazal to the opening spot and bring in Saad Masood as the fifth bowling option/all-rounder, but they don't seem like a team that has the guts to take those types of difficult decisions.

Islamabad's bowling combination looked much better this time around. But not so sure about Mohammad Faiq at 3. I have yet to see him play a single knock of substance. Maybe Green could be dropped for Mehran Mumtaz, and Gous comes back at 3.

Conway also continues to be a liability but I guess we are stuck with him for the season.
