That is the worst Dixy, on Ilford land near the Kebaish, that place has low hygines standards man, HFC is good, Chicken Cottage next door has the best fried is chicken, Mobeen is my regular haunt, food isnt nothing speical but the seating is good.

agreed on the hygienes bit but hey HFC was even Worse sometime back, they had these big Cat sized Rat's in their shop ;) not to mention that lady with darhi mooch stood at the counter :D

but have always preferred HFC , good value for your money , and i love mobeen's & Rayhan's as well.

Our 1st Dixy opened up last year - you can imagine my delight. Family bought some...mates bought some....and never went back. Food poisoning all round - I was spared because they didnt leave any for me!

Unfortunately, the shop was bought by an unscrupolous Pakistani guy who has hired lazy Pak students to work there - they just spend all day & night talking abouut 'buying/selling mobiles' and 'permanant stay visa' to care about the food.

They even mange to screw up the serving of ice-cream! Big disapoointment. Had a Dixy in Southall last summer - that was great!

Oxy our dixy is adding it's finishing touches, should be out in next few weeks, its got the sign up and everything, cant wait !

Btw i will contact them to arrange for u to cut the ribbon, will be a great achievement for a city like Derby to have one of our Takeaways opened by a person of ur calibre :)

I'm still keeping away from such establishments - still keeping away from junk (except on Sat). I'd be like a bull in a china shop if I had to cut any ribbons......

From my experience, the most consistently good quality franchise is Chicken Cottage - wherever you go, its of a high quality.

actually 2 of the best Dixy's i have been , have been in Newham..one opposite Eastham station and the other near bolyn cinema.

thing is, they get load's of customers , so rest assured everything will be fresh.

major prob's with dixy's are , that they cant sell the way they should , hence it's not as fresh ....thats why i always prefer HFC...

Chicken Cottage is for mum dad's.

And we are grateful...
how could you like that, seriously no taste in their chicken.........it is soft though will give em that.

Best chicken burger i have had is from Yankee's....it's on barking road (east ham) , price is a bit high but it's worth it.

oxy i thought you were migrating to east-london, no ?

I hate London - I try to make my visits last no more than 1 day. Early coach there, and last coach back!

likewise, i really enjoy day outings there but i just cannot imagine living there and not committing suicide.

I've decided that i'm going to either settle back in ireland or move to one of japan or canada when i can. I need peace!
