What's new

What was the last thing you ate?

Stereotyping much? :yk
It's not like I can do anything about it, I've been brought up eating Pakistani food

True that! Try and exercise everyday though or atleast 3 times a week. Maybe eat 4 rotis instead of 5, cut down on portions.

Went for a run then ate chicken kebab and fries lamb biryani and lamb curry with 1.5 tandoori rotis and a chicken pizza slice. Feel sick now i guess was hungry after the run.

I'm exercising 6 days a week... 2 rotis only :junaid

I eat like 1 or 2 as well. Thats alright then :afridi exercising everyday to negotiate the pakistani diet is the easier/better option then making the transition to a complete italian diet for brown people

Some compromises I've made include giving up the rice dishes, because white rice sans the fiber is loaded with so much simple carbs its not worth it.

Instead of rotis I've found these multi-grain wraps that are 100 calories and have no sugars, no (bad) fat and 9g of protein.

For salan I try to eat as little as possible, focusing on the botis instead of the shorba. A fringe benefit of this is not having to eat veggies, only meat and daal, which both have good protein content.

Someone should just invent baked salan: all the ingredients except the gallons of oil, and baked. That would make life so much easier.

On sunday had home made burgers. Breakfast today was weetabix. Yesterdy had crunchy nut. Then had cheese and tomato bread. Today had melted cheese on toast then malted milk and then lamb patty and meatball curry with begun and stuff then yoghurt with honey sugar and strawberry cereal, had strawberries yesterday. Also had stuff like boiled sweets and licquorice but thats only some havent got enough time to list everything

You don't say.

You're either 18, have an extremely active metabolism or run 50 miles a day.

Either way, I'm jealous and I hate you with an intensity directly proportional to my age. ;)

Heaven indeed.

Best ones I've had were in 1997 on a family vacation, at a hole-in-the-wall called Faqiri Kabab in a little town called Batagram, not far from Mansehra. They had all sorts of paraphernalia associated with Sufi shrines on the wall.

I hope the kababs, and the decor, have survived the test of time.
