What will be the outcome of the Pakistan vs Bangladesh T20I series?

Pakistan have been decimated in their last two T20I series recently against Sri Lanka and Australia. Bangladesh are up next in Lahore. What will be the result?
 
2-1 to Pakistan and I am standing by it!
 
Could go either way to be honest.

Bangla has enough quality to win the series even without Mushfiq and Shakib.

My guess would be 2-1 for Bangladesh.
 
With BDESH missing their best players, and Pakistan picking good squad with the experienced Malik and Hafeez,.I think pakistan will win 3-0.
 
If Pakistan lose even one game, they should lose their #1 position in T20I ranking. Aussies are just 1 point behind.

Pakistan should win 3-0 on paper but you never know with T20.

As a Bangladeshi, it would be disappointing to see BD losing 0-3. At least one win is expected.
 
Pak will have to improve a lot on their performances considering how the team has fared in last few T20s series to win the series and maybe having a shot at retaining the no 1 ranking as that will require winning 3-0.

Yes team has enough potential but whether or not they can replicate that on the field will be the question.
 
Look at Pak team and then look at BD.... How on earth are they going to win.... It can only be fluke win but right now, on paper, it has to be 3/0 to Pak.....

The people who are saying 2/1 are just factoring in a one off brilliant show by a BD batsman or bowler or even a Pak collapse, that's fine but if you look at two sides, I can't see BD winning anything... Neither the test / odi or 3 T20's....
 
Despite all the changed, Pakistan is a very strong T20 team. And as much as I want Hafeez and Malik gone from Pakistan cricket, they are made for this kind of series - at home against Bangladesh. Those 2 will bully BD, Babar will be Babar, and bowlers will be dominant.

The biggest question for Pakistan is their captain is still unproven, and yet to win a match.
 
If the wickets are slow turners, this series could be a banana skin for Pakistan.
 
I don't really care about the result to be honest. It is secondary issue.
I am more concerned about the strategy to get to the optimal squad for Australia.
Does the selection mean that akmal shejzad and Talat are defo out of Reckoning, also Asif

Or are we going to turn back after psl.

On merit Pak is no 4 or 5 t20 team. It is ridiculous to believe that Pak is the best team in the shortest format of the game.

Please don't tell me you don't enjoy it when we lose and that is perfectly alright, that is what rivalry is all about.

Thanks for being honest sir ji.

Pak can definitely whitewash BD but if you think it will be a cakewalk you're probably in for a surprise. Their youngsters has a knack of raising their games against Asian teams and their finger spinners may not be world beaters but can be annoyingly hard to score of if the pitch suits them. Overall I think it will be an exciting closely fought series.
 
Any other result other than 3 - 0 against this Bangladesh C team will be humiliating for Pakistan.

Making excuses already

You’re missing only one player which is Shakib.
Mushi ain’t even good in T20is and i doubt missing a player in a T20 will really matter at all
 
If Liton Das travels then he will score three tons and will be the end of the careers of the Pakistani bowlers.

Mushy isn't as good in t20 as he is in odi but he does have some memorable innings under his belt, like the one against SL in SL where he won the match chasing 220 something. How many of current Pak players have done that?

Pakistan should whitewash and destroy this Bangladesh C team without shakib and mushy. Anything less is unbecoming of a no.1 team. Especially considering that they should be motivated by playing in front of home crowds.

Pakistan should look to beat this Bangladesh team 3-0. Anything less, will be a disappointing return.

Specially now that one of the best players in the world apparently, Mushfiqur Rahim, is not available to Bangladesh :yk
 
Probably 3-0 Pakistan but these new Bengali players are very good as well like Muhammad naim and liton but Sarkar throws it away anyways but without muhsfiq and shakib that’s like 50% of the team gone so no chance.
 
If Mushfiq and Shakib played it would have been 3- nil, too much weight Superstar Liton has to carry so I think it will be 2- 1. One of Liton's century will go in vain, probably babar or any batsmen will bash our trundlers. Will be a good series, battle of the two heavy weights. Very excited about the matches, not gonna watch a single match.
 
Pakistan have only two good players in Babar and Imad. Need them to play out of their skins.

Hopefully Haris Rauf can perform well in Pakistan.
 
The way this tour has happened it has left a bad taste for many Pakistani fans, would rather hope this fragmented tour by a 9th ranked team finishes soon. Would be happy to see some competition, Pakistan has an awful batting lineup Bangladesh can prove a tough contender if their bowling is able to limit Pakistan to score below 120.

Honestly, most cricket fans are waiting for PSL to start.
 
Without their Key players, Bangladesh team is weakened. Hence it will be a closely contested series. Pakistan can hope to win at least one match if not more.

Pakistan should win all 3 games given the resources at hand (they have to!) Although the shorter the format, better the chance of freak results.

If Pakistan plays like how they played in world cup, it will be 3-0 in favor of Pakistan. However, post world cup they didn't play well. Both the batting and the bowling were inconsistent. On the other hand, Bangladesh competed well with India. So, the result depends on which version of cricket Pakistan plays in this series.
 
3-0 to Pakistan.

But hoping for at least one win. The games are back to back and so momentum is important. Knowing our players, if they lose the first match badly, chances are we will be whitewashed.

Such a shame Mushfiq didn’t come because it just gives haters an excuse. Pak would whitewash them with Shakib and Mushfiq playing
 
If we play like today noway we can whitewash BD.
2-1 in either way.

I din'r think we are no.1 t20 team so if we lose the ranking it will not be a big deal.Pakistan should have given chances to new players e.g. Zeeshan Malik,Zafar Gogar but PCB was scared of losing the ranking so it brought back Hafeez and Malik
 
I voted for 2-1 (Pakistan) but looks like Pakistan should win this 3-0. BD are being extremely toothless.
