More than 'not scoring' our issue in ODI cricket is scoring slow and our openers are usually very very slow starters , in the last few years none of our openers apart from sharjeel khan and nasir jamshed
has shown any ability to score freely. Shehzad and azhar play most part of their inning with the SR of under 70 and if they are lucky enough to survive for long they can make it up but you can not expect them to survive this long every time.
With no real firepower down the order its going o be very important that our openers start well and we are not 35/1 after 10 overs. So what do you guys suggest should be considered an acceptable performance from our openers?
