So you had a chance to watch this game but

1. You fell asleep
2. Thought it would be boring!
3. Couldn't be bothered and spent time on some other pursuit!

Regardless - you missed probably the game of the century.

For me, thankfully, I have never had that issue - always taken the opportunity - but how about you?

Same for me. Don't recall missing a great Pakistan match or even a really great cricket match.

Thankfully, the only big games I missed in the last decade turned out to be games in which Pakistan got battered. Matches like Pakistan vs. West Indies at the 2015 World Cup or Pakistan vs. Australia at the 2019 World Cup.

Similarly for me, the only recent high profile game I missed was Pakistan getting bowled out for 105 in the 2019 WC. I will forever be grateful I got to miss it.

Still have PTSD from watching that match.

Sachin's twin centuries at Sharjah against Australia back in 1998. I watched more than half of both of Sachin's innings but couldn't complete watching them.

Pak vs Ind 2007 T20 WC group stage game comes to mind at one stage when Pakistan were 4/47 I stopped watching & when I woke up for sehri I got the news from my Father that Misbah played an amazing inning but Pakistan still lost the game.

CT 2013 final is one I missed but aside of that I have watched all great matches in which India were part of. However, I don't have any regret for that.

I regret not watching the final day chase by India at the Gabba earlier this year, was stuck at work unfortunately.

Same i was praying Jummah at the time when it finished.

I wish i saw Pakistan vs NZ 2015 (think it was the 4th odi when our batting just smashed NZ's bowling, Shahid Afridi was just awesome in that game and captained it).

Asia Cup 2014 vs India springs to mind when Afridi hit those two winning sixes.

I stopped watching cricket between mid 2012-mid 2014 and only got back in due to the England-Sri Lanka Test series.

Pakistan vs Bangladesh 2014 Asia Cup.

Really wish I got to watch our record ODI chase :)

Almost all of 2007 t20 WC. I was stuck in detention or some such ******** in my boarding school.

My vengeance will be legendary ;((

CT17 Final. I missed Amir’s wicket of Sharma. :(

I was in Karachi for a holiday, went to the corner shop to get some drinks, the shopkeeper had the tv below the till, heard the audio and I ran back home quicker than Bolt.

1983 World Cup final.

It would have been an amazing to watch the real cornered tigers, led by the 23 year old lion-heart Kapil Dev, defy the odds and beat the indestructible force West Indies and two time defending world champions in the Home of Cricket.

A victory that changed cricket forever. It shifted the power of balance, ending the hegemony of England and Australian cricket boards.

It brought the World Cup to the subcontinent and turned India into a cricket mad nation.

It also made ODI cricket a more popular format among the masses and kickstarted the golden era of ODI cricket that last until the early 2010s.

A triumph for the ages.

The greatest ODI victory in history.

2002 Natwest Final. After Sachin got out India were reeling at 136/5. With victory out of equation considering we were chasing 326, I switched off the tele and went to sleep. Next morning, I got to know that Yuvraj & Kaif created history. Newspapers (yes, no twitter back then sorry) were flooded with Ganguly's shirtless picture and how an Indian captain sticking it to the Poms. :P

That game has changed the dynamics of Indian cricket forever and I regret of closing the tele that night when Sachin got out

Kolkata Test 2001, Natwest Final 2002 and WT20 2007 Final – the three most important and influential Test, ODI and T20I victories for India in the 2000s.

Three triumphs that had a huge impact on the psyche of Indian cricket.

:))

Amused at the way you have the perfect catchphrases to rile up your fellow compatriots here.

Much like "Ashwin has now surpassed Imran Khan" a few months back.

Correct, for Test ODI and T20 respectively.

And the momentum of India-Pakistan matches shifted from that 2003 WC game. Prior to that Pakistan used to be favourites in almost every clash. Since that game, India has been favourites in all matches up until the Asia cup 2018 1st game. Such was the hold that 2003 WC match had.

1) the match with india in kanpur in which Afridi made 105.
2)The match against India in which Akhtar bowled bouncer to Ganguly.....
3) The match in which Sumi bowled a bouncer to Laxman..
4) Junaids spell in that series in 2012 (Aanay do)
5) The highest total of India in test history 33.. that match i feel that i should have watched it at any cost..
6) The match between India and West Indies in 1983 at Bakshi stadium Srinagar Kashmir, that match i could have watched in stadium but i was born 10 years after that match...but still i enjoy listening to the stories and events of that day by my parents..

I was extremely disappointed with our batting effort in the Champions Trophy 2013 final and went to sleep thinking we'd lose comfortably. Big big regret..

Also didn't watch the whole of Lords Test that we won in 2014. What a game that was! Sadly we went onto get pulverized in the next 3 games.

The only match that comes mind that i missed was the final of kitply cupbbetween pakistan and india, which pakistan won, i did catch the highlights but would have been nice to watch the match
