When the Desert T20 Challenge can draw over 15,000 people then its good news for cricket in the UAE

I find that very interesting that such a huge crowd showed up and it does set a target which PSL organizers will be looking to better.

What it also brings to the fore is the fact that 15k was something organizers were struggling to see during Pak WI T20 games.

Are the Afghan supporters in UAE more enthusiastic about their team than Pakistanis?

Pakistan play in the UAE ALL the time. I wouldn't expect too many fans to go out there in the Dubai or Abu Dhabi heat every match. As for Afghanistan, the fans their usually get to see their own team play, especially in a tournament. So, I would say its understandable.

Afghan team is very new and they don't play much, so the fans are very excited.

Recently at a inauguration of a ground in a province - Khost(I think) a match was played among Afghan players and some 80000 people turned up.
