Just read that India is making a movie on their 1983 WC win. If we were to produce one on our 1992 victory which actors of ours would play the roles of cricketers who bought glory to us?

Tough to say. None of the Pakistani actors apart from Ayub Khoso resemble Imran Khan physically.

Fawad Khan as Imran Khan.

Googled the guy, he's an old man and neither does he have an athletic physique. A sports movie should be play by relatively young actors 20 and 30-somethings.

We would also need an Aaqib, Akram, Inzamam, Mushtaq and Miandad lookalikes as well.

Ali Rehman Khan could play Imran, Ahsan Khan could play Wasim and Fahad Mustafa as Miandad

Akshay Kumar can play IK.

I remember seeing this actor named Imran Ashraf.

Reminded me of a young Inzi.

good to see pakistanis wanting to copy the typical indian trait of using sporting victories as masala to churn out patriotic movies which makes the bollywood fan wet their pants and go home thinking there is no culture, no country like theirs. with the qaumi-tarana playing at the beginning and end of the movie, so that the audience stand up along with their sodas and popcorn to display their movie hall patriotism.

Much like Meghan Merkel can play herself in the Crown season 8, so can our World Cup winning players can play themselves for a movie based on 1992 World Cup.

But this is showing them like almost 3 decades ago, they would need to find younger versions of them. Maybe they could play a cameo in the end but I don't think it would be very effective.

Sports movies are a Hollywood thing, I don't watch Bollywood but I'm sure y'all get "inspired" (plagiarize) from Hollywood :afridi

It’s 21st century. There are so many cinematic tools make one look more than 3 decades younger.

Altaf Hussain would be a good shout to play Miandad:murali He is a great actor too!

Tom Hardy could grow a moustache and play Gooch.

Some random fat bloke could play Botham.

Imran Khan: Hrithik Roshan
Inzimam: The fat guy in Fukrey (@JaDed)
Miandad: Nawazuddin Siddiqui
Wasim Akram: Fawad Khan

Don't care about others.

Along with that, the actor must be sadiq and ameen if he gets the honour of playing IK.

That is not necessary when the players themselves were no angel's. They should just resemble them, that's all.
