Two neighbor countries, got independence in the same year and month, many things are same between these two countries. But now adays both countries peace is at risk.

So given the current circumstances which country political game is more worst? What ya guys think?

Is this a serious question? Things have taken a turn for the worse in India only in this decade of Modi, and even now we have to realize that they are simply following the footsteps of Pakistan.

However, they are about 60 years too late. Our Islamization started long, long, long before their pro-Hindu movement. It specifically started in the 50s when we declared ourselves an Islamic republic.

India is a proper democracy and that is why it has a bright future. It will only take the power of public vote for it to get back on track.

On the other hand, Pakistan is a hopeless case. Unfortunately, M. Jinnah died within a year of independence which created a power vacuum. That vacuum was occupied by the power hungry military junta.

M. Jinnah smelled the rats early and made it abundantly clear that the military will have no say in politics and will remain subservient to the civilian government, but his words were cast into the bin by the military when he died.

Today, the military elite proudly display portraits of M. Jinnah in their offices in spite of rejecting his beliefs and doing unspeakable things to his sister.

Pakistan’s politics and democracy is a sham. All the PMs including the spineless incumbent are puppets. The military shapes our foreign policy and for the military, conflict is business.

That is why we can never hope to have peace with our neighbors as well as within our country. Pakistan will always be a destabilized country as long as the military remains the central power.

While things are bad in India at the moment, they have hope for the future. Besides, no matter how bad things become there, it will always be far, far better than Pakistan.

Politics by its definition is a dirty game but is a necessary evil for democracy to thrive. All are same.

Not true. BJP lot better than Congress

Worst things happened under INC

Emergency of 1975 - Indira Gandhi had a state of emergency declared across the country.

1984 sikh riots- killing more than 3,000 Sikhs in New Delhi and an estimated 8,000 across India led by Congress Government.

Entire Kahmir mess happened under INC.
Sanjay Gandhi bravado during emergency
Betrayed our Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose through conspiracy where Nehru made a major role.
Opening up of Ram Mandir in the late 1980s.
Babri Masjid Demolition, apparently no action by the government during the build of the politics.
Communal violence bill 2011.

Congress party is cancer to society and entire Fake Gandhi family are bull **** and they literally spoiled country.

Rahul Gandhi is big joker, he cant win. Congress party itself bunch of idiots.

India is worse. They have a lot more corrupt politicians.

So India have replaced its army chief without a fuss, while Bajwa is desperately clinging onto power because apparently India would be all over us if he leaves his post now.

What is Bajwa implying? The next army chief is incapable?

That is the difference between a democracy and a country where the military owns the state.

Clearly india, considering that have been carrying out genocide for decades now.

When do you think this Military dictatorship will end?

When do you think this Military dictatorship will end?

It will take 3-4 generations of India-like generals who would respect democracy and not interfere in politics and economy, and will only focus on their duty of providing national defense.

Unfortunately, when you shape the foreign policy of the country and have to protect a business empire, providing national defense is not the top most priority. Hence, military control in Pakistan will probably never end.

I voted India because, the Pakistani politicians probably can't stoop low as ours. But, I'm confident in the younger generation of India. I feel our general population is smarter than the general population of Pakistanin(my opinion) so we can manage bad politicians.

Pakistan, simply because for the long time, Pakistani elected corrupt politician who gave an impression of going against Army of Pakistan while bringing the country down to its knees.

Some didn’t mind that because they made tons of money while blaming Army day in and day out.

Politics are same everywhere. Just look at the US politics and the level to the politicians stoop to malign others.

It all depends on whom you are asking.

id say pakistan, pakistan had so many geopoltiical advantages after independence, a smaller population, more agrarian natural resources, close ties with the usa.

what did they do with all that, lose half the country after the rejection of a democratic vote (this alone is enough to make pakistani politics worse than indian), fight proxy wars which enriched the military and destabilised the socio-economic fabric of the country.

the only positive step pak took was in facilitating china opening up to the usa, which has created goodwill which to some extent has supported pak in recent history. however overall pakistan's political history is characterised by 70 years of mismanagement.

india moved fast to enact land reform which helped stabilise society, whereas pakistan is still stuck in a feudal system of patronage, the "ji hazoor", "ji sir", culture permeates every part of society and results in stifling individual economic and social liberties.

it is not even close in the larger context, Pakistan is one of the most political mismanaged countries in the world. india has its issues but they are far less socially ingrained than pakistan.

i am never for socialism, however pakistan politics is so dominated by the land owning class immediate reforms are needed, and until that is sorted the country will remain politically stifled.

Has got to be India. Fighting for 1.3 Billion votes in a sham democracy is never going to be easy.
