China will defend Pakistan’s sovereignty if threatened​

President of the Center for China and Globalization Chinese Scholar Victor Gao has stated that China will defend Pakistan if its sovereignty or territorial integrity is threatened.

In an interview with a Chinese broadcaster, Gao emphasized the strength of Pakistan-China relations, calling them “as strong as iron” and reaffirming that both countries stand firmly by each other.

Expressing deep concern over rising tensions between Pakistan and India, Gao said the situation poses a serious global concern and that an immediate ceasefire is essential.

He urged both countries to exercise maximum restraint, implement an immediate ceasefire, and avoid any further conflict to maintain peace in the region.
