Lately have been really impressed by Lockie Ferguson - so effortless and the pace so good.

Guess the same for Jofra Archer - no convulsions when bowling - simple run up and action and the result a startling 150 kph!

Most smooth and effortless bowling action while bowling express fast.

Best ever: Micheal Holding

2nd Best Ever; Archer

Worth mentioning: Waqar Younis , Marshall, Lillee, Johm Snow,

Most beautiful: archer

Least beautiful: Jasprit Bumrah

Amir’s action is quite nice but he can’t hit 150 kph anymore like in 2010

Archer followed by Amir, Steyn, Rabada, Cummins and Hazlewood.

Joffra Archer is one helluva bowler.

Minimal effort. Smooth action. 90mph.

In this particular order and in terms of aesthetic value

Bhuvi
Cummins
Amir
Anderson
Southie

Best action ever-Shoaib Akhtar

I might be in the minority here but I quite like the BD all rounder Shaiduddin’s action, regardless of his effectiveness as a bowler.

I also like Woakes’s action, very fluid and pleasing to look at.

And of course the usual suspects boule, Cummins, Rabada all also very cool.

I would say Steyn when in full flow.

Back in the day i used to love Danny Morrison’s action.

Matt Henry has a very similar bowling action to Shane Bond who was the most pleasing for me personally.

Archer without doubt. Kumar of India has a nice one too.

Archer for sure...

Dont know about anyone but i kinda like Hasnain's action too

Archer's resoundingly.

I noticed a few guys delving into the past - I have to say I really liked Shoaib Akhtar's when he broke through (prior to injuries/ chasing "phast" bowling numbers). I'm thinking South Africa 98 tour. Lovely action.

I also liked Pramodya Wickramasinghe's but I'm generally a 90's romantic TBH.

Anderson, Boult and Archer are my three favourites.

All-time favourites - Imran, Bond, Anderson and 90's Waqar.

Not repeating the main names, but I have always liked Umesh Yadav’s action, really easy and pleasing. That he get’s smacked is another discussion.

Archer. By far, the smoothest and repeatable.

Starc, also. Like Shabbir Ahmed of Pakistan.

Currently, i would go with trent boult.
Archer's is effortless but he can't swing the ball, more a agressive pacer using bouncers as his main tool, will get found out on dead tracks!

Action is not everything, its what you do with your hand thats more important!
M. Sami has the best action of all pak bowlers(thats why he can still bowl around 90mph at nearly 40 years old) but he did nothing with his hand to manipulate the ball and thats why he was a failure!

Matt Henry from the current lot. Surprised no one mentioned the white lightening for the best ever.

Starc and Rabada both have beautiful actions, overall Allan Donald was the most pleasing to eye.

Richard Hadlee; beautiful to watch and naturally brings about out-swing.

James Anderson when he's taking wickets and in full flow

Also like Chris Woakes's and Boult's

And then there is this

aesthetic wise? got to say boult. I have never seen such a beautiful action in my life. It's just so pleasing to the eye.

Naseem Shah, Lockie Ferguson, Trent Boult and James Anderson are probably my favourite ones among current players

Boult and Anderson.

Among the new generation, Jofra Archer - the new Whispering Death.

Archer has a beautiful action, but likely puts significant strain on body due to short run-up and quick acceleration. The action that would be the best to teach for me is Cummins', compact with power through the crease to generate pace and bounce.
Anderson probs has the most aesthetic action, but not as powerful as Cummins' for me. Boult, Rabada, Starc (new more compact action) also good

Current: Archer, Anderson, Rabada, Matt henry
All time: Bond, Waqar(early 90s. probably the greatest bowling peak of all time) Anderson, Donald, Mcgrath, Steyn,

for me, the actions with big jumps are the best

Allan Donald, Imran (his runup with his swag and skills was just treat to watch) Rana Naveed ul Hassan (just waow ... tht jump and smooooooothness) Shane Bond 007.. the killer.... Holding the smoothness

for recent , no1 gets close to styn ... powerful aggressive and in yur face action....
Archer and cummins for me are too close for no2/3

Kemar Roach is some1 under estimated... he has that swag going for him as well

Shammi is some1 with good smooth action as well

the worst for me .... Bummarah ( although i would love to see him in my team, great skills but ugly action)

All time.... Larwood, Lindwall, Lillee, Holding, Hadlee, Gough. They was like watching cream pour.

Since WW2 in no particular order:
Donald
Holding
Lillee
Bond
Walsh for me had a beautiful flowing action
Hadlee

Greatest of all time:
Imran Khan

Others:
Lillee
Mohd Asif
Hadlee
Holding

None of current hacks even come close.

Jofra Archer
Haris Rauf
Mitchal Stark
Lokuie Ferguson
Rabada

All runs casually towards umpire and then zmmmmmm 149 kph:97:
