What are the predicted xI for the each team does anyone know

Central Punjab by a distance.

Strong batting (expected), depth in the fast bowling department, quality spinner and the main A/R currently for Pak.

Only thing they lack is a 2nd spinner to pair up with Zafar, but that shouldn't be too much of an issue.

I think the teams are nicely balanced so credit to the selection panel, but I'd say Central Punjab and Sindh are the favourites.

I am hoping for some good individual performances from our current Test guys - need to see how they fare in this new setup

A little bit off topic but I think 8 teams would have been more suited to Pakistan.
With just 6 teams you have some good players missing out of First Class System. Just to name a few : Naved Yasin, Zia ul Haq, Ghulam Mudassar, Ruman Raees, Khushdil Shah...

All these players are in Second XI. If they perform well than they can always be promoted to first XI. I hope this is how it works.

Teams are decently balanced, but I'd say :

1.) Central Punjab
2.) Sindh
3.) South Punjab
4.) Balochistan
5.) Northern
6.) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

I agree

Lahore and Karachi deserves a seperate team just like Mumbai in Ranji trophy. 8 teams would be perfect for Pakistan.

The thing is that quite a few players will end up going on international duty during the domestic season, so, many of these players will end up playing 1st XI anyway.

I think 6 teams is a good start, as it may actually weed out a few bad players in the 1st XI's. Maybe in a couple of years, two more teams can be added.

Yup

In future 8 teams should be an ideal choice, 2nd XI and U23 cricket.

Sindh look pretty strong to me in the first 2 days but then real test coming up when second side bats ...

To be honest all of them look equally good after round 1 - Northern top order and Southern Punjab as well looked a bit iffy though. Difficult to judge bowling on these pitches.

Balochistan and Northern look a bit weaker than the other sides.

Will be interesting to see the teams' compositions once the international games start.
