Interestingly saw a thread from 2015 about the 2019 WC. Who do you think will be in the starting XI for the first game of the 2023 WC.

From our current squad, Babar Azam, Imam Ul Haq, Shadab Khan, Shaheen Afridi, Mohammad Hasnain should be there.


From the players in domestic, Usman Shinwari, Mohammad Musa, Haris Rauf and Umer Khan have good chances of making it.

Other than that, there will be some exceptional U-19 players from 2020 and 2022 U-19 World Cups.

Don't think Sarfraz Ahmed, Mohammad Hafeez, Shoaib Malik, Imad Wasim and Wahab Riaz have any chance.

Azhar Ali And Assad shafiq would become the new “experienced” players to play for Pakistan simply because they are in their mid late thirties.

They’d be the new burden after malik and Hafeez go.

Trend will continue forever
